In my eyes he's a modern day Bob Dylan. A poet in a musicians disguise. Most of these songs seem to be for his children. In an age when people let their kids dictate their own lives instead of the other way around as it has always been. Parents worship their kids now and the kids are the ones lacking real guidance.
It seems Phil is not suffering anything but the normal remorse of real parents.

Saw them last night opening for Judas Priest and Deep Purple. They were really good live and avoided ballads which made me happy.

This sounds like alt country which is very cool considering what their other songs sound like. Send this track to Sirius/XM Outlaw Country. They play alt country, cow punk, Americana and classic country (Johnny Cash, Waylon, Willie, Hank's original, Jr. and Hank 3, Drive-By Truckers, etc.) and rockabilly. Might as well spread the wealth Temperance Movement!
