- I've purchased a new 1.5t Thwaites dumper to serve my growing business. In this video, I talk about why I chose this machine, and my thoughts on how its performed so far.
Machine: Thwaites Mach 203 1.5t swivel dumper.

we bought a 2.5 ton winget in 1990 and only sold it on last year great runner
Kubota has two tracked dumpers even here in Canada.
Looked at the thwaites same as you,but ended up buying an Ausa D150AHG,same engine, same transmission, full road lights, fantastic bit of kit, loads of power and £2500 less than the thwaites!
The payloads for dumpers and loaders is normally, if not always, calculated around the average material density figure of 1.80 tonne per cube, so if your dumper has carrying capacity of 800 litres then its max payload should be 1.44 tonnes.
A new bobcat t450 skidsteer (smaller one) is the bones of 50k , your dumper is a better option what ever way you weigh it up.
Got a 2005 Thwaites 2 tonne swivel. Still a good machine. Did you get a price on the 1.5 high tip swivel??
NC are made here in Northern Ireland and very popular. Do all sorts of agricultural/construction equipment. Had an NC low loader for about 20 years and it has been great.
Great video,
Why not using a wheel loader instead?
do you service your dumper and digger your self?
Great purchase 😉
