Alright guys this is rejected shotgun and today I’ve made an entire halo ring with full destruction physics in halo 3
but stick around till the end and you’ll see that I’ve also modded high charity with full interior and is ready for testing with my patreons
Watch him get fed up with Halo's engine and end up rewriting all of the code to allow for that. XD

when i was a kid and playing halo 3, i spent hours on split screen with my brother trying to drive the scarab, he kept getting annoyed because he wanted to play the game but the only thing i could do was go to the front of the thing and you would be so far forward that the scarab would think that you are in front of it, thus walk depending on where you where on the front

2 things I’d like to see added: 1) More variants of the Elephant (missile pods, faster speeds, more turrets) and 2) forge objects that allow us to create destroyed buildings and cities (perhaps even with destructible walls) so that we can create huge battles that mimic Bungie’s footage of the unused “Global Battle” gametype. I love the huge rock terrain pieces, but being able to create buildings and bases on the map is just as important. Please add some urban forge pieces in the next update!
The plan is to add some UNSC and Covenant rectangular pieces that are quite large. They should be suitable for buildings and such.

Dude you are basically fulfilling the desires I had when I played halo 3 and reach on 360. I always wanted it to become something like halo custom edition with huge maps and awesome vehicles added in. the mods you've been working on and everything have pretty much been making my dreams come true.
When I saw the Scarabs I thought "Holy crap", but when I saw the Nuclear Designator I thought "Holy CRAP"
How about a Scarab with the Nuclear designator on top of it.

Here's an idea: bring some structures from campaign into Ark Bound. Like the space elevator debris, the small garages you see on the mission where you lead a group of warthogs to Voi, or Foresunner spires from Valhalla.

Yes! Please more forge props, that's my one gripe about Extinction besides it's awesomeness, cubes are just too.... cubey to really do interesting things with. Adding in structures from the campaign will help with interesting diverse map creation 100%
Instead of flyable frigate on that map, use the back section as the home base spawn / hanger for the UNSC vehicles? Like how on CE's extinction they used the crashed POAs hanger!
And have the pelicans carry vehicles down and drop them off.
I feel like hangars in the frigate are/could be really cool tho

In all honesty, seeing any of these here would be cool. The spaceflight banshee seen in _Long Night of Solace_ would be a neat addition. So could bringing back the Tick boarding craft found on _Cairo Station_ as well as the Shadow transports found on _Outskirts._

I THINK something that would be cool for this mod would basically be the Covenant version of your Nuclear Designator, and also, Halo's version of the Hammer Of Dawn. Basically you could make it that IF you spawn in the Covenant Cruiser above the map you could use its glassing beam by designating a strike area where the cleansing will commence, like your Nuke Designator, but you can (slowly) move around the glassing beam while its still firing.
You could make it so its just a gun that designates the area where the glassing will start, but if you wanna go extra, the Prophet of Regret was able to call a *glassing strike* with his flying wheelchair in Halo Wars 1, so you could make it so the Prophet's Chair can call that glassing strike as a secondary weapon.
But how would you balance it? Well, make the kill radius a LOT smaller than the Nuke, but still big enough so people ain't escaping it. Also, make it a "plasma weapon", so it overheats after like 6-7 seconds of firing the beam, and then you can also give it a massive cooldown (if its a secondary weapon for the Prophet's chair) or just make it a one-time only weapon, you fire it once, and that's enough.
I also think you could give us the option to choose when the Nuke designator (and my glassing designator if you make it) will fully charge, so you can choose to make it completely unfair and fully charge after one second, or give it a really slooooooooooow charge.

Could we potentially get a Scarab AI for those playing this map alone? If the desync is the only issue I mean.
Is it possible to get the AA cannon to eject steam and slide back from recoil the way it does in campaign?

Maybe have a reload time on the Pelican rockets, similar to the CE rocket hog (or just any rocket hog for that matter)

I'd like to see the frigates ability to drop of tanks and other vehicles like in The Ark campaign mission
4:55 For the Covenant defender, a good idea is to perhaps make it burst fire, and even change its projectile (Perhaps make it a different color or increase/decrease the speed, etc.). You could maybe even incorporate accuracy penalties for shooting too fast, and you could even have it overheat or even have to vent it manually like the Plasma Repeater.
The AA gun needs a camera shake effect Everytime you shoot it, it would make it satisfying to do so.
The custom game possibilities, are insane.
Can't wait to see what creative people do with these. I'm hoping Infinite launches, with full modding support.

The Turret should have an insane firing rate with a higher pitched report from the muzzle.
I loved the Halo series and still do and certain ones will always have a place in my heart. After all these years seeing you improve/add onto the game, making videos about it, keeping Halo 3 alive is just heartfelt and wonderful to see! Keep it up you definitely gained a subscriber.
The destructible Pelican is incredible, this is going to be a revolutionary mod for Halo 3
I have an idea to make the Defender more unique: make it a burst fire I was thinking like 4 quick shots then a 2-3 second cooldown then repeat
Last i remembered that thing is a spartan shredder, would burst even be wise if thats the case?

I really love how interactive Halo 3 ODST feels with the ability to ride on the side of Tanks and I want more of that interaction in Halo games, so being able to ride in the back of the Warthog is super fucking cool and especially driving vehicles you can’t normally use, I always want to use those.

Great work!!! I love seeing your updates, your care really shows in the details.
Feel free to ignore me but I think it could be cool if the Seraph cast a wide net of plasma bolts that were weighted heavily towards shields and armor. If it kept that speed and handling trickiness it could act as a sort of support vehicle complementing the Banshee by being about speed and suppression vs accuracy and controll. Add some slower heavier cannons for ship to ship and i think it could be tasty.
Your mods are like next level upgrades for halo i would even call it modding. You pretty much made all the best sand box vehicles

For the defender, I would imagine it have a triangle bullet pattern (three bullets) maybe with a little splash damage if that's possible?

I had a thought about the Pelican. It always looks pretty weird whenever you aim its weapon systems downward and the entire airframe points at the ground, even though it's hovering. To fix this, would it be possible to combine two flight models? Hover mode, where it flies like a Hornet with its vertical angle fixed. You'd be able to pick up and drop off people, and use its weapon systems more effectively since you're stationary, but you'd also be slower. Then if you clicked in your stick or something, it'd switch to flight mode and behave like a banshee. It's always moving forward and if you point the nose down, it'll actually fly towards the ground. It'll faster in this mode than in hover mode, making it ideal for actually transporting players and moving around the map. I think having this difference would do a lot for the Pelican, visually speaking.

Aw man to have a huge dog fight above an insane ground war. To good man, to to good. It's also crazy to think of a 1v1 but you can spawn in soldiers on both sides. Kinda make armies and go against a friend. That would be awesome. Keep up the great work

On the Halo 2 Phantom, you could also make a Reach phantom that simply fires brute shot rounds with a red plasma effect

I remember some of rejected's early videos I think and he has been absolutely amazing but I looked and realized I was subbed and I thought WTH is wrong with me that I haven't yet so I did.
I love the anti air scarab, but in looking up the wiki entry I rediscovered another type of scarab which is the artillery scarab, it’s the regular Type 47 Scarab but it has the heavy plasma mortar on the back and no beam canon at the front

I personally would find it really fun to have a bunch of controllable npc bipeds like what you put in for the extention mod. Being able to hop in one like you're choosing a class and fight your friends can be a blast, another mod I've tried has some limited functionality of that nature (albeit not fully feature complete, can't fly as a drone or jump as a jetpack brute, no flood tank, etc-) and it actually DID sync in multiplayer properly and not crash if you weren't the host, unlike in reach in the extinction mod.
It might be a lot of work to make all of the controllable npcs have all of their gimmicks but I think it could be worth it.
Hear me out. A covenant equivalent to the Longsword nuke. Glassing Beam with custom alien target designator.

I love all of these uploads. As for different ideas for you maybe a version of the Gungoose in H3 and idk maybe some messed up vehicles? I know that’s sort of InfernoPlus’s niche but maybe some weird hybrids could be cool if possible? Imagine a warthog with a boost or maybe some kind of heavy vehicle like a wraith you can break into a smaller vehicle like a ghost after most of the wraith is damaged. OK that latter idea might be too ambitious for halo 3s engine but I’m sure you could make some nice additions people might have never thought of. Imagine the terror of the AA Scarab with Gauss Hog cannons replacing the plasma turrets

It'd be pretty neat to have some weapon variants for the weapons which were quite different in older/newer Halos like the CE Assault Rifle, Pistol and Shotgun or the H2 Magnum. (Plus the ODST Weapons that have already been added to Forge in the flights). I managed to recreate the CE AR (With SMG reticle) and the H2 Magnum without too much effort.
It also might be worth looking into ElDewrito weapons (Though I have no idea if those tags are compatible with MCC PC)
This is soooo much like a map on Halo CE I used to have.
There were two hangers either side of an insanely large map and vehicles everywhere... and of course longswords that dropped nukes

in Regards to the defender turret, i would recommend changing it into some sort of beam weapon, whether to add a charge mechanic like the spartan laser or make act like the Halo Reach focus rifle. I think that'd be pretty neat.
Just look how much nicer the phantom looks in H3 than it does in Infinite :(

an idea for the snowbound defender could be to give it projectiles similar to the CE shade, so it'd fire three slightly weaker bolts that maybe dont travel as fast but applies a very small AoE on impact so its like a surpression turret, and/or giving it a small amount of impulse so landing a few shots on light vehicles could knock em over, not as impactful as brute shot/concussion rifle but maybe half that

This is awesome! Do you plan to add some of the vehicles from the mod your friend showed in the last video? Also, you should add in more “designator” weapons like drop pod designators or napalm or EMP or supply drops
If I knew more complex modding I would make a mode where its Covenant vs Humans but more complex. Like each team can choose what AI they are before they start. For example, 2 people could choose hunter, 4 Elites Max, 3 Brute Max, and the rest have no limits. Same thing with Humans. It would be an actual cool battle mode
