I felt so bad watching this 😭 I always thought they were the happiest people ever, everytime I watch their videos, I smile. I was also bullied in school, there were points where I felt so numb that I chose to cry because feeling something was better than feeling nothing. Then I stumbled on *The Dolan Twins* , I found entertainment. Something that wasnt sadness neither numbness, it was enjoyment and motivation. From the sounds of it, it could've been jealousy. Some people are friendly/playfully-jealous like "omg you have a twin. Luckyyyy I wish i had a twin" and they tease you about that which is okay but they were teased because they not only have a twin as a best friend but they were pretty much vine famous so I can only imagine they were most likely picked on and mocked by the male students if anything. The Dolan twins probably had a lot of female vine fans that were crazy about them as well and thats what triggered the bullies at high school. Also the Dolans most likely are the type that come off as 'those guys that try too hard to be funny' when really they were just being themselves.
I just need a moment to process how lucky we all are that we have Grayson and that his heart started beating again. I don't know what I would do without this goofball
Ethan, I saw your tweet earlier today about how you're sick of pretending you're okay when your mental health is shit. I can tell you now, it's okay not to be okay but it's not okay to pretend like you're okay. As humans we feel guilty of feeling like shit because it seems like everyone around you is happy all the time when in reality they probably feel like shit as well. I think it's important to be yourself and if you feel like you can't be sad or feel any emotion other than happiness, just know that you tweeting that really impacted a lot of people in a way. I've been watching your videos a lot recently and I always think "I wish I could be like them, always laughing and having fun all the time" but you only show the parts that you think the people want to see, and so do I and so does everyone. You tweeting that took a lot of courage and I'm so proud of you. I've been going through some stuff recently, so to see that someone like you who I look up to so much could feel the same emotions really comforted me. So thank you so much. You're both amazing.
