That was deep AF. My 15 year old daughter took a bottle of pills and was in the hospital for a month. She almost didn’t make it. But she managed to pull through. Thank god.
This song really touches home for me. I can relate to having those feelings as well. Life is rough but we gotta keep moving and pull through.
At 15, about 10 days before my 16th birthday, I took a bottle of Tylenol. It was touch and go for me too. I spent 3 days in the real hospital taking this vile medicine every two hours to try to make sure the acetaminophen wouldn't make my organs fail. Then they transferred me to the psych unit for two weeks. I celebrated my 16th birthday there.
I just wanted to say that your daughter is lucky to have you. When I did it, my parents called the cops first and the cop came in and started yelling at me about how spoiled and pathetic I was, how I was ruining my family's life and he could take me to juvie. Eventually he called the paramedics and they helped me. But my mom didn't visit me once in those two weeks.

I usually see you as someone funny, but let me tell you are a truly gifted and amazing singer. This song made me feel something deeper than “this is a good song” and that is what makes it special. The ability to move people with words, and the huge topic of teens using drugs really made me feel that because my cousin has took drugs for that same reason, to escape her problems. Just wanted to say that after hearing this beat/lyrics I wrote something about my past in about in hour, I hope you or anyone who is at a hard time can relate and fight on.
I'm not a musician just write lyrics for fun. I wrote it to the beat of this song.

So listen for what I have to say, I prayed for my death every day, back in 7th all the way to 10 grade.
Never smoked or drank and always put others first, so why did I always feel like I was the fucking worst?
I got spit and hit and was told i was a piece of shit and i can feel the pain in my heart ike it was stuck in cement.
It can be 90 degrees and it didnt matter to me, always had my hands in my pockets of extra large hoodie.
People knew my name but never got to know me, 30 kids in every class but I always felt so lonely .
I was too quite and then i was shit talked on, next day I spoke up and was made fun that I talk on and on, getting verbally beat harder than a tone to a song, so I walked in the shadows just so the days can go along.
My mom was depressed due to the lack of her health, she was someone who always wished she could have great wealth.
MS is a real motherfucker, turning her legs to rubber, barely able to walk she lost time for being a mother.
My dad, well shit, he thought suicide was for the weak, so telling him life was hard wasnt something I seeked.
Parents on the verge of divorce, you can feel the negative force, as if having me you could held some remorse.
mama once said she would have so much cash if she didnt have me, so tell me, how the fuck should I feel happy?
Dad called me gay cause I liked shoes and hats, it made me look good but not after hearing him say all that.
Feeling this way, I could feel my soul leave little by day, honestly asking to die would feel great, I'd say.
People would know my name, like I would have instant fame, maybe they all would feel some shame, but dame who is really to blame?
Dad had a m9 and .357, it would only take one shot for me to go to heaven, but then I thought, what if God thought not?
So my thoughts stopped and my heart dropped, going to hell is definitely a prob.
So you wanna know what stopped me from pulling the trigger? It was because of something that would make my problem much bigger
Now sitting in my room my heart feeling broken, tears rolling down my face i could feel something had awoken.
I had realize the power of a humans will and how it will always outweigh a stupid pill, or any idea of wanting to have myself killed.
Life is tough that much is true, but the only person who can beat your demons is you, so never be afraid to do what you do.
Enough of this sad shit, today i dont have much and i love it, I've come realize that drugs plus problems will never solve it.
Got my girl and a few close friends so now I pray to God for giving strength for back then, so I promise you this is only the beginning not the end.

My father beat me for years and so did my mother watching them fall into there addiction was heart breaking going through a day wondering when the beating was going to happen caused me to seek help or what I thought was help thought drugs like coke pills downers and upers and anything I could get my hands on was what I thought I need but now as I've left that situation I find my self happy please if you know someone in a situation like this please speak up and help them im 22 now 3 years sober and truly happy. It is never to late to late to take control of you're life.
