- What happens to the airbags in your seat when you put seat covers on the seats? It depends on what kind of seat covers you use but if you're using TigerTough seat covers, the airbag still does exactly what it is supposed to. Here is how we do it.

great video! I see this was posted 4 years ago. Do you still only make these for vans and trucks? If so is there a reason you don't make them for cars?
We make them for vans, trucks, heavy equipment, side-by-sides, tractors, and lawnmowers. We do cover a few cars but don't focus on them because our focus is on vehicles & equipment used for blue-collar work. Nothing against cars at all!
I'm curious what you use for the thread so it safely opens. Also, how do you get your work certified?

Does anyone know a site where we can buy seat covers that won’t be an issue with side airbags? Been looking for a while. Want some nerdy ones and only finding ones meant for cars without them.
Depends on what vehicle you're driving! If you've got a truck or a van, www.tigertough.com is the place to go. If our covers go on a seat with a side airbag, we design a tearaway for the airbag to deploy, as shown in the video. (our covers aren't too nerdy though).
If you're looking for covers for a car we aren't going to be able to help though.

Agreed! We can show you how we do it, and we go over a few others in comparison videos but if you're looking at other brands, I'd highly recommend getting info from them on how they make sure the airbags work like they're supposed to.

@Tigertough The car in the video is the same make and model that I have, but I can't fit seat covers on your site for it. Do you still make them for the Mazda CX5?

Useless airbag. Oooo it protected my elbow but not the rest of my body in a crash.
