Scott McNeil did an amazing job when voicing BW Silverbolt
He did 4 total characters in Beast Wars, and was an amazing voice actor, being able to give all of them distinct, unique personalities

I think the knee having a small tab to stop them is to help with stability. Since his knees are designed to bend both directions and he doesn't have guards or anything to naturally stop them, they added it to "Future proof" him, so to speak.
They better do a depth charge next since they did Sliverbolt

I like those shots with the other Transformers at the side of your table, it's like they're the audience to your reviews
Beast machines Silverbolt is basically Shadow the hedgehog.
How so?
@thefirstguyjaek255 (Spoilers) After he was reformatted back into silverbolt, his time as jetstorm took a toll on his personality, and besides a few tamer moments, he remained like that until the end of the show. Another reason is that he's also edgy. Stating how he believed in things and how megatron gave him nothing ETC.
He's an edgy lone wolf for most of his screentime in that show. Also, I realised the irony of using the phrase 'lone wolf' for the bird-dog.
I also suggest doing your own research on the character in beast machines

Silverbolt was my favorite Beast Wars character, and I'm glad they did him justice.
I scored mine at Frank & Sons toy show in LA a couple weeks ago and I love him! They actually molded mock hinges on the side of his chest to emulate the look of the old toy, even though he transforms completely differently!!
I honestly never thought we'd get another figure of this character, and I really have no complaints other than slightly loose wings on mine. Solid figure all around and I hope this isn't the end of fuzors in the newer lines.
And now, we have all of the Scott Mcneil BW characters in modern toy form. REJOICE!
Doggo isn't impressed with the plastic tiny winged one, but we all are.

This guy feels so great, I like transforming him between modes for fun due to how addictive and simple it is, alongside the beast mode being as cool as the robot mode.
Mine is on the way, I am so hyped. Sadly I have misplaced my Kingdom Blackarachnia, so I don't have her right now. We need a Quickstrike and a Transmetal Tarantulas for him to face. Tarantulas Deluxe or Voyager, Quickstrike Core or Deluxe
Try to ignore how Tahu is also voiced by Scott McNeil in his deeper BM Silverbolt register
Seriously though, I think the official designers can tackle a show accurate BM Silverbolt, that would be an insane Voyager
The face he has makes him look like he's sick of everyone's slag.
I do wish he had that charming friendly smile.
This is a voyager I recommend if you can get it do it cause it’s very nice overall and the secondary market will not be nice to get this guy from. This is the second silver bolt besides the original mold wise so it’s a sought after design unfortunately scalpers might scalp and make this guy hard to find.
I’m curious to see if this will see any repaints cause there was the purple version and maybe some alternate universe designs but there’s plenty of room for creativity repaints.

I never really liked the Quickstrike design, but now that Silverbolt is out, I can't wait for Quickstrike.
I was 3 when the original came out. I got the Universe repaint for my 13th birthday (seemed to shelfwarm a bit in my area). This new version is so good, I still have a saft spot for the original mold though. So animation accurate. Im looking forward to getting him and a hopefully Universe repaint.

I'm hoping to get Silverbolt on my birthday. I had the original when I was younger but I donated him. The new one I'm keeping.
I'm not even remotely interested in this figure or beast wars but I'm glad the beast wars folks got something they wanted

If there’s one across the board change I’d like to see transformers make it would be an effort to standardize better upwardhead movement on the figures

I got him this week. Haven't got to testing him out yet through. Gonna try to transform to & from fuzot mode at once before Children of Primus tonight (I was sick the one time ya were a guest).

The rifle you grabbed is classics Kup's. His hands are 5mm but he's got a weird tab thing in them specifically to hold that rifle. Idk why they made it that way tho

Just got mine today at Target and canceled my Amazon preorder
The only issue with making a new quickstrike is that unlike silverbolt who had on original toy that was good but flawed, meaning there was room for drastic improvement, the original quickstrike is so goddamn good that really the only thing you can change outside of a rotating scorpion head is more more articulation and not make it clear plastic...... that's pretty much it. Even the transart figure basically did just that.
Silverbolt is one of many favorites because of his beast mode. Along with his unique weapons he can shoot them at you like missiles. That or using them like swords. Then throw them at you an then they explode like missiles. He had one of the best weapon systems if you will. Because it was both a long range an short range weapon system.
Not surprising this mold was pretty solid on the original it was just missing a few clips and hindered by its gimmick.
I will always say, the only thing that this toy needs is a shin swivel, because he looks kinda awkward sometimes when you wanna get a dynamic pose on him in the beast mode, because he ends up having the talons pointed inwards
This figure is awesome. And while I get why everybody wants Quickstrike (me too), I want Rampage more. Give us the psycho crab, Hasbro, Silverbolt can´t bury that Paleotrex repaint to Transmutate alone!

Following the logic of other hybrid animal names like Griffin and Ursagriff, I hereby declare Silverbolt's beast mode to be: a Lupigriff! Derived from Lupin, meaning wolf.
I love this thing! It's easily my favorite United figure so far

I wouldn't shave those raised bumps in the knees. They are there to help the figure stand. If/when the joints begin to get loose, those bumps will at least make it so the figure can stand up and not flop like the original one when the knees got loose.

Super hyped to have this guy and... I guess I'll keep the old one around for the beast mode tho. This new one doesn't have the best beast mode, but ah well ig. Robot mode they absolutely nailed tho

he might be the best voyager bw toy since kingdom, bigbot and the dinobot are great but neither can mach this sliverbolt

I really don't like how where the robot mode arms attach to the body looks like it's the same weird folded joint as the og figure when it isn't. Why did they do that
The robot mode looks great I just wished they did the beast mode better because the proportions on there is so wonky. The front legs situated so close to the head to the point it looks like he doesnt have a neck, the back end of him being so far out that he tail feathers are on his back and not above his butt, it just looks too clunky to me.
And i am deeply disappointed that the wings could not lift up and point forward like he can do in the show. I always thought that was the coolest part about his design and made the most sense as a bot with built in flappable wings on his back. Not to mention he can fire his feather blades as missiles from his wings when they are lifted upwards, its the coolest design ever for a transformers toy. Here he just have the wings on his back with nothing else he could do with, very generic winged bot.

If you rotate the hands in his beast mode it looks a little less like a hand
