I agree, he has got some sick moves! He is deserving of some higher profile matches. They have so many possibilities on this roster right now. There are some incredible matches that could be in the future. The end of 2022 and beginning of 2023 looks like it will keep the gas pedal floored! AEW IS ON FIRE!

I appreciate that this hyper-acrobatic and highly coreographed style of wrestling is not for everyone, but it is really impressive what these guys are able to do in the ring.
Right and unlike Sammy aren't almost ending their careers or endangering others in the process
The athleticism is impressive but sometimes the logic doesn't make any sense and it takes me right out of any psychology going on. That Shooting Star Press double team doesn't make sense, doing a reverse flip doesn't add any momentum, his body is lifting upwards while the opponent is being driven down. So it's a completely unnecessary back flip he is doing just for flash.

@@khalidhatim7035 No, there are moves done for purposes of storyline, and/or they appear to have physical impact, or they actually make sense as something the competitor would intend to do to defeat their opponent. How does it make sense for a wrestler trying to win a tournament match to go "In order to make this pile-driver more devastating I am going to do a backflip in front of him and THEN try to push down on them in the opposite direction of my body's momentum in a spliit second"? It makes way more sense to stomp on the guy like Fenix or push straight down like FTR does. I like Will Osprey, I think he's super talented, but his Shooting Star Press just to barely touch an opponent makes no sense. I like flashy moves when they make sense.

Osprey deserves a push in AEW without question. His combined athleticism and high flying ability make him such a treat to watch. Kenny is getting the push for obvious reasons here, however, Osprey is seriously one to watch moving forward. Wow.

@@sexmachine77 I see your point but it would have made no sense if will and aussie open won since their signed with njpw and not with aew and if would have also robbed us of hangman and dark order vs the elite since it adds another chapter to their storyline.
I actually prefer Ospreay in NJPW, at least right now. He just feels much more like an NJPW guy, which I mean in only the best way. AEW is ridiculously crowded, and I just feel it's best he keeps building his brand over in Japan.

Fun to see Ospreay and Omega work together. They did a phenomenal job in setting up each other's moves as well as executing and selling them. Clearly amazing workers and AEW is lucky to have them!
While I haven't seen a lot of Wil Osprey's work, I do know that Kenny Omega is one of the hardest working wrestlers EVER. Unlike CLOWNS like Hulk Hogan, the Sh*stain Kid Shawn Michelle, and hhh, Kenny Omega works his matches for whatever is best for the company, the storyline, and the other participant. He'll take a loss, bet beat badly, or he'll also kick some serious butt as well. He also can go 60 minutes and get thrown, beat down, flipped, dropped, and dumped onto the floor, a table, the ring apron, and even the audience. My point is Kenny Omega is a great PROFESSIONAL WRESTLER! Yes I'm sure he has an ego, they ALL DO! But Kenny can also make sure that his opponents look great, his opponents again can win, but overall he makes sure the fans get a 150% performance! He is amazing!

Damn Will Ospreay's been on a mean losing streak lately... Lost to Okada in the finals of the G1, Lost his British Heavyweight Championship, just been eliminated from the AEW Trio's tag tournament. Only thing that could make this any worse is if he loses his IWGP U.S. title to Dave Finlay.

Nah he will win against Dave Finlay. If Will Ospreay wants another shot to beat omega in a 1v1. He should challenge omega and put his IWGP U.S title on the line. Make things interesting. Anyway just to have another Omega vs Ospreay. Them alone can put on an awesome 1 hour match. But not till like Halloween or something just long enough till omega gets back into the groove and make sure he’s 100% healed up.
3 hour every week for AEW is not enough. We need more TV time. This deserves to be on TV in front of everyone
This match was everything I wanted. I dont know when we are getting the singles match between Kenny and Ospreay but it doesnt matter if its at Artur Ashe, Wrestle Kingdom or Forbidden door 2 but whenever that happens its going to be MOTY.

Get these men a CAGE and let them loose. They both have to be at 100% going in. No weapons. No shinanigans. Just Omega and Osprey trying to one up and beat the hell out of each other for 30 minutes. Follow that up with a 60 minutes Ironman Match. End it all with a No Disqualification Match sprinkled with shinanigans. Questionable and controversial end to match. Now they can fight forever.

WOW! So good. Omega getting hit with ospreys ring post back flip had me worried . Bucks should have protected him better. Kenny isn’t 100 but even 80% is amazing. I can’t take another period with a hurt omega. (Or Danielson for that matter) Osprey was golden.

God damn. That first 40 seconds was INSANE.
Unpopular opinion: It was kind of tedious. After the 30th super kick flip suicide dive assisted pile driver variant near fall, I stopped caring. I love AEW but this didn't do it for me.
I feel like they could have chosen just one sequence to end the match with and cut all the rest. They are suuuuper athletic, which I can respect, but I tune out of the matches because "being amazed" isnt why I love wrestling, or film, or music for that matter. I want to root for someone, I want to suspend my disbelief and be immersed. I want to feel dammit! Haha

My LORD this aew world trios championship tournament has been a BANGER so far back to back weeks where a 6 man tag team match was the match of the night on aew dynamite.
