Me and my squad is struggling to get legendary item because the objective is usually contested over 2 or 3 team. And sometimes after having 1-3 legendary item, my team have hard decisision on where to go(loot and fight more legendary ovjective or stay safe) and also we dont know the optimal team composition and just play all 3 dps/what we usually we play. Any advice?
@@chocomilo1628 if you are struggling to fight at first couple objectives you could farm hard and then order in your powerspike items to start! I love the beach - uptown - dock farm route because there's a ton of bears!
@@chocomilo1628 My best advice would be to never stop getting better loot, always contest objectives you can win and always keep moving around be it for farming, cooking or getting the legendary item materials for transitions.
I was looking for a guide that explains a little more about crafting camera, foods, and those sort of tertiary items. Also, getting legendaries and fighting for them. I know they exist. Anywhere I go they tell me they exist. Also, what legendaries are priority.
@@meerkatpowergaming9412 the legendries depend from character to character, in the video i say just focus on the stats your characters initial build prioritizes, cameras its just a binocular, and a survellence cam but i guess i forgot to explain that's the items u need since It's kinda second nature for me. Food just grab any food and take it to a campfire and it will be good enough like I said in the vid but you can look up the best of the best if you want to only craft optimal food but it will make you go out of your way and lose time doing more important things
Also, if you're forced to deviate from your route for whatever reason, you can press M to open that map and while pressing ALT it highlights the items you need according to your saved plan and in which zones you can find them so you can move and adapt to it
This game has changed so much from the last time i played it that I'm glad I checked this before starting up again. I'd be lost as all hell without it. Thanks for the video.

I like the fact that now you can escape before you had to either kill all enemies or be killed but now seems like you can escape successfully it's more like Tarkov
Thus is very well put together i would have told the people to group as soon as thy can because getting PK by a roaming group of 3 while farming sets you back tremendously but very well put together

Adri, great video as always but as a returning player I have one huge concern... are the servers still really hit and miss? Playing in the EU in EA was horrendeous.
Does "escaping the island" through the submarine always count as a win even if a small one or are there instances where you'll still lose LP out of it?
@@Barraca02 Scrap that, new LP system is different and escaping gives a flat 10 lp. So if the entry cost (depends on rank) is higher than 10 then escaping will not guarantee gained LP. For example in mythril rank the entry cost is 54 and escaping will probably not gain you lp at all.
I want to like this game but the learning curve is a big hurtle to overcome . I honestly feel like I'm just wondering around randomly. Even tho I'm following my path. Even tho in the description it states basic's it feels like there is alot to take in such as pathing ,weapon master, looting, objective, etc. I just wish the game wasn't so complicated
yeah honestly there isn't an easy short cut to getting comfy with the game. I've heard success stories of people playing a few bot games or practice modes to practice a route so they feel comfortable with it. hope things get easier as time goes on

@Adritoma pretty much solved her mobility issue, so when teams dive on her, she can safely get away without having to use her ultimate, so she can still kite and deal massive damage, winning most fights now
I’d try it now, they switched engines to a new version of unity. The last hotfix last night had a few game crash fixes too, if neither work you could either submit a ticket or wait like a week to see if they fix that specific error since a new engine also brings issues
right now you can solo queue into a squad but no solos mode. they said it will return eventually but i don't think anytime soon. I'd say solo queue is actually fine though! I have a ranked solo queue vid that might do a better job pitching it lmao
This all applies to squads but I have a few other videos that dive deeper into advice kinda like the vid before this! I might make a more in depth one for how to fight as a squad though or comps to run.
you could play normally but depend fast rotate if play tactical role play ask 1 melee with full tank (elena, magnus, and mai damage as defense) and 2 range, if you play dirty or cheap poke all range party. if meta current popular i think chiara ap because if you execute character with ulti jump, her duration extend and not apply her cd effect that mean can reativate after duration ended
I just recently installed it. I open the game and it stays on the loading screen, and from there I haven't passed, I don't know if resources are being downloaded, but it's been a while since it's been on the same loading image
I’ve heard a couple people have had this issue I’ll send it along to the dev team. If they have a fix I’ll let you know but putting in a ticket could help too
I don't know if you could help me with something. I did my routes, but my saved plan always changes to something that has nothing to do with it. Any advice?
I might need some more info! Like you load in and you don’t see the plan you created? Or you finished routing and got all your items then it changes to a new saved plan?
@@Adritoma I have a plan I choose it and when I enter the game it is another that has nothing to do with what I chose and I cannot change it for any other until I have to put the objects manually
@@dragonblanco8102 when loading in it might default to that random build but if u want your one you made i think you have to select it going into the game. if you can't do that you might need to submit a ticket to support
@@Adritoma Me and my friends have had an issue where during a game, our item guide will disappear and we dont know what to build. I also had an issue where I accidentally sold one of my purple items while clicking them at the top right, and then the guide wasn't recommending any new gear for that slot. Is there a way to choose a saved build during a match, or how to recover from one of these issues?
Great video! I think you did a wonderful job explaining! But seeing that the crafting system seemingly hasn’t changed at all to be faster and/or easier since early access, I’ll have to skip again. Nothing against the game! The crafting is just the biggest and most boring hurdle to learn.
i think if u select "i am a new player" When you boot in it puts you in AI games. so your MMR starts at a hypothetical 0 and you need to get it up to like 1500 or something like that before you stop getting bots. So just keep playing and winning. Level 15 seems high but worst case scenario at 30 you can play ranked where there is no bots. Sorry no easy trick but hope that makes sense
I dont really get the game for real. Like...i got full purple items and am at the same level as everyone else, yet i deal absolutly 0 damage to anyone and get basically oneshotted by every other player. Any advices? Because i cant figure out what im doing wrong honestly and its frustrating that i cant fight anyone besides AI's
Guys, I don't know, maybe someone here can help??? I was playing with my buddies but we ALWAYS seem to be weaker than our enemies no matter what. We can craft the highest gear, but the difference between our party and theirs with even sometimes purple armour is too huge. We like a punch bags for them in every game. What can be the reason for this unbearable difference?
@@nomifish press tab to see a players mastery, this is a big indication on a teams power. If you are 2-3 mastery down you’ll feel weaker. To keep up in mastery make sure your team is constantly farming, fighting or going for objectives!
Can’t even find a match in this game, got to lvl17 then no match found.. been in lobby for over 20+ minutes and no games, can’t even get to lvl30 for rank matches.. 2/14/24
@@Adritoma I played it on the first week release once as well, quit both times after 1 game lol. I'm even high-ranked in most moba's but this UI is on another level 💀 It surely does not leave anybody with a good first impression haha (unless maybe you're a starcraft player)
i quit several months ago because of the toxic and racism in every game plus the game bug that didnt get fixed after the cobalt protocol update got banned 2 times because korean mass report me from the enemy team and ally got banned the third time because i report an AFK korean player in cobalt protocol
Masteries still in the game are a mistake that will cost this game's population and NN a lot. Ppl should not have a snowballing advantage just because they happened to finish their weapon faster and kill more mobs and/or kill more unlucky ppl on their way than you.
@@Adritoma I kinda understood it back in 2021 when aside from masteries you didn't even have an incenvite to farm mobs. But now we have enough. There is no way to suddenly catch up with masteries despite what Nadja suggests, better/luckier team clears everything even faster and you just walk over a ton of corpses instead. I heard all this mastery stuff is for avoiding ratting, but I find such justification dumb. Not only rats won't ever win unless being extremely lucky with 3rd partying (but then again it can happen to everyone), they also will probably just meet a full-geared team while being mostly still purpled and lose to any team that will meet them. And lol, if it's against ratting, then why even create escape system.
@@DesperadoFTW Are we complaining a better team get rewarded better for playing better than the worse team? Really? Luck is barely an aspect on this game, although it can happen, luck has never been an issue ive encountered in the BR mode.
Lower mmr gets bot games until that mmr is higher, I haven’t seen a bot yet at my mmr but yeah I think they should go away slowly after a few more levels
Eternal Returner probably the most terrible new player experience I've ever had so far. I feel like I'm playing against Korean ESL pros. Game has good concept but it's way too complicated with aspects such as crafting, map routing, learning every other character weaknesses etc. And teamplay makes it even worse. Idk what is up with this "teamplay" obsession nowadays. Just give people an option to pick between solo queue and teamplay.

as of now queues are popping really fast. I haven't had too many other complaints though
EU pops all the time, even at 1am or so

you can solo queue into a team but the only way to play solos again would be in customs and just have 1 person per team lol

You will never lose lp from it. Just go even or gain a small amount. I wouldn’t say it’s a win rather than just cutting your loses
@@Adritoma So if I were to do it every single game would I end up positive LP wise or mostly would get nothing out of it

yeah honestly there isn't an easy short cut to getting comfy with the game. I've heard success stories of people playing a few bot games or practice modes to practice a route so they feel comfortable with it. hope things get easier as time goes on

@@Rethyphon honestly probably tighter mmr matchmaking for normal games but that would take a lot larger of a playerbase!

@Adritoma pretty much solved her mobility issue, so when teams dive on her, she can safely get away without having to use her ultimate, so she can still kite and deal massive damage, winning most fights now
at what time and server is it best to play?, the wait time is almost 10 min every time I want to play

I’d try it now, they switched engines to a new version of unity. The last hotfix last night had a few game crash fixes too, if neither work you could either submit a ticket or wait like a week to see if they fix that specific error since a new engine also brings issues

right now you can solo queue into a squad but no solos mode. they said it will return eventually but i don't think anytime soon. I'd say solo queue is actually fine though! I have a ranked solo queue vid that might do a better job pitching it lmao

you could play normally but depend fast rotate if play tactical role play ask 1 melee with full tank (elena, magnus, and mai damage as defense) and 2 range, if you play dirty or cheap poke all range party. if meta current popular i think chiara ap because if you execute character with ulti jump, her duration extend and not apply her cd effect that mean can reativate after duration ended
I just recently installed it. I open the game and it stays on the loading screen, and from there I haven't passed, I don't know if resources are being downloaded, but it's been a while since it's been on the same loading image
I’ve heard a couple people have had this issue I’ll send it along to the dev team. If they have a fix I’ll let you know but putting in a ticket could help too

I might need some more info! Like you load in and you don’t see the plan you created? Or you finished routing and got all your items then it changes to a new saved plan?
@@Adritoma I have a plan I choose it and when I enter the game it is another that has nothing to do with what I chose and I cannot change it for any other until I have to put the objects manually
@@dragonblanco8102 when loading in it might default to that random build but if u want your one you made i think you have to select it going into the game. if you can't do that you might need to submit a ticket to support

@@Adritoma Me and my friends have had an issue where during a game, our item guide will disappear and we dont know what to build. I also had an issue where I accidentally sold one of my purple items while clicking them at the top right, and then the guide wasn't recommending any new gear for that slot. Is there a way to choose a saved build during a match, or how to recover from one of these issues?

I played the game two days ago and I'm level 15. Why am I still playing against AI?
i think if u select "i am a new player" When you boot in it puts you in AI games. so your MMR starts at a hypothetical 0 and you need to get it up to like 1500 or something like that before you stop getting bots. So just keep playing and winning. Level 15 seems high but worst case scenario at 30 you can play ranked where there is no bots. Sorry no easy trick but hope that makes sense

I dont really get the game for real. Like...i got full purple items and am at the same level as everyone else, yet i deal absolutly 0 damage to anyone and get basically oneshotted by every other player.

Guys, I don't know, maybe someone here can help??? I was playing with my buddies but we ALWAYS seem to be weaker than our enemies no matter what. We can craft the highest gear, but the difference between our party and theirs with even sometimes purple armour is too huge. We like a punch bags for them in every game. What can be the reason for this unbearable difference?
@@nomifish press tab to see a players mastery, this is a big indication on a teams power. If you are 2-3 mastery down you’ll feel weaker. To keep up in mastery make sure your team is constantly farming, fighting or going for objectives!

@@Adritoma I played it on the first week release once as well, quit both times after 1 game lol. I'm even high-ranked in most moba's but this UI is on another level 💀 It surely does not leave anybody with a good first impression haha (unless maybe you're a starcraft player)

got banned 2 times because korean mass report me from the enemy team and ally
got banned the third time because i report an AFK korean player in cobalt protocol
Masteries still in the game are a mistake that will cost this game's population and NN a lot. Ppl should not have a snowballing advantage just because they happened to finish their weapon faster and kill more mobs and/or kill more unlucky ppl on their way than you.
I agree but with how much they changed already i kinda understand leaving one or two big hurdles still. Maybe looked at in the future though who knows
@@Adritoma I kinda understood it back in 2021 when aside from masteries you didn't even have an incenvite to farm mobs. But now we have enough.
There is no way to suddenly catch up with masteries despite what Nadja suggests, better/luckier team clears everything even faster and you just walk over a ton of corpses instead.
I heard all this mastery stuff is for avoiding ratting, but I find such justification dumb. Not only rats won't ever win unless being extremely lucky with 3rd partying (but then again it can happen to everyone), they also will probably just meet a full-geared team while being mostly still purpled and lose to any team that will meet them. And lol, if it's against ratting, then why even create escape system.
@@DesperadoFTW Are we complaining a better team get rewarded better for playing better than the worse team? Really? Luck is barely an aspect on this game, although it can happen, luck has never been an issue ive encountered in the BR mode.

Lower mmr gets bot games until that mmr is higher, I haven’t seen a bot yet at my mmr but yeah I think they should go away slowly after a few more levels
Eternal Returner probably the most terrible new player experience I've ever had so far. I feel like I'm playing against Korean ESL pros.
Game has good concept but it's way too complicated with aspects such as crafting, map routing, learning every other character weaknesses etc.
And teamplay makes it even worse. Idk what is up with this "teamplay" obsession nowadays. Just give people an option to pick between solo queue and teamplay.
I just wish this game wasnt a battle royale with looting. Shit sucks

Bots should only be there for your first few games. I haven’t ran into a single bot in 1.0! And haven’t heard of or seen any cheaters
