This is a very nice initiative by next ias team as when the classes get over then it is not possible to get in touch with the teachers daily and get their thoughts on the recent issues which we used to get in the classrooms on daily purpose (although they all are available whenever we want) and this initiative helps us to overcome that shortcoming. This is what actual demand came from farmers but i can see in various news channels they are talking shit about this protest ..glad im preparing for this exam and I'm aware what is actually happening around me.
At 10:09 Nitish sir said that right to protest in not fundamental right but according to SC IN SAHEEN BAGH CASE ALSO SC said right to protest in part of FR under A19(1)(b)(c)(a) . Right to protest is not explicitly part of FR but as we see SC interpretation we conclude right to protest part of FR. SO MY DOUBT IS WHAT SHOULD I ANSWER IF QUESTION POPS UP IN CSE PRELIMS
As per SC it was a case where people were exercising their right to assemble peacefully. That doesn’t make Right to Protest as Fundamental Right explicitly.
