I think its because it was too similar to how she actually decorated the dining room 💀💀 the magenta ended being more lilac imo

I would love to see this, but with that color palette generator that artists use! It would make it more cohesive than the red & yellow & brown color combos i've seen before 😭
i dont understand why she says that she does not use cc so that everyone can use it when cc is free and then proceeds to use a billion packs that in total would cost 453$
@@MaggieSkellie Red, brown and yellow is SO awful, I think it's part of Plumbella's Random Generator and... you just don't want to get that one
@@jeca765 she does limited pack builds all the time. and regardless, she says that because while pc users have access to cc, console players do not.

It was also the perfect chance to use get famous , it’s so hard to fit the marble into a house
Actually physically hurt to see her use the dark Indigo bookshelves from crystal creations and then use a black base game desk and go "we need more blue bc its getting to be all black" like MY SWEET GAL THE CRYSTAL CREATIONS DESK IS RIGHT THERE !!

she kept like changing the colors. like i get the color pallet in the sims is limited but when there was the correct color, she chose a different color because she liked it better.
Or you know fully commit to any of the build challenges she does? She’s always cops out in a way that makes it too easy. Usually it’s the challenge that forces the creator to do something new and creative
Those colours must be completely different on her monitor to mine! I saw bright fuscia, dusky rose pink, then lilac for the kitchen
yea to me the lilac wouldve matched the lilac swatch on the country kitchen kit counters perfectly

Nah the color she got for the kitchen was Def Periwinkle. That was the only one I was very proud of.
I don’t think it’s the monitor because the living room rug was not a perfect match but she saw it that way 🫶🏽.. … there are more greens than any other color… but only one mint 🤪

I wish you'd commit to the challenge ! Go all out! Love monochrome. Also, maybe having a primary color generator would have been easier to not get repeats and then have to randomize multiple times ^^
Or wheelofnames and just use the actual color catagories of the game so it's a bit less... subjective.

i think when trying to build a regular, livable house it’s okay to tone it down, but this is a challenge !! you roll purple for the bathroom but can’t find a purple toilet?? too bad, no toilet for you 🤷🏼♀️😭
i know she said colors might appear different for her and us but i can't help but be shocked when she said the first green was minty and that the pastel pink was close to the neon magenta
she said the stuff she chose was more mint. not the website. and that she is gonna allow herself to go for more of a mint vibe bc she will probably get another shade of green anyway.
not that those colours themselves are super similar, but she's saying that she's limited a lot by the colours that the sims has.
@@Eclipse_101The first green she got the sims has tons of that tone of green, including stairs, most of it base game. I think that the modern stairs they would have been didn't fit the style she'd made the house so she decided to use a different colour because she liked the aesthetic more.

James Turner's colour wheel is good and I think you can turn the colour off if you don't want it to come up again.
Like seriously, it’s bright magenta (and we FOR SURE have those swatches in the sims 4, she complains about them all the time) and she goes “mm yeah this dusty purple is totally the same thing as the picture” which no it isn’t??? Like girly, you gotta go WILD when you get wild colors!! It’s about having fun with the chaos!! Not trying to mute it down

i kinda wish you tried to use only the colours, no white floor or curtains when there are purple floors and curtains. :( maybe next time? i bet you'd make it look good even with no white or black furniture!
RIGHT! i wld get the white doors/windows so every room is technically its own color, but the fact she used it as an accent color (along w black and the floors) is just a little irritating, its not a color challenge at that point

@lynnymph yes its just weird she limits herself to rules when she cant really stick or follow through with. she's done it w several challenges, while i enjoy the content and what she creates in general i feel like theres not really any challenge to her builds.

Yeah but it didn't even match from what she showed us on this website and what she showed us in the game... Like, on the same screen... 😅 (And I don't mean that obviously the colors would not be exactly recreatable, but I can see that what she called neon purple was actually a pink shade when seeing it side by side with all the purple items she used. You know what I mean? 😅🙈

@@pelin8033 u have to realize that the sims team makes the color. There isn’t gonna be an exact match which she said in the first minute.. you’re actually just being dramatic if you can’t watch a video because there isn’t a perfect match.

this build is really fun but you still always default to neutral when you don’t have inspiration images, making all your builds look pretty similar just differently cluttered! maybe this is chaotic, but could you try and do a build where you do not use a SINGLE white/beige/cream swatch of anything (including windows, doors, toilets, etc.). i promise it’s not that scary :D
And maybe not the EXACT same landscaping that she always does.

I think Simsie could've definitely committed to the chaos more. Like for every fun colour she chose initially, she switched it to a neutral sad-beige version of them

I feel some type of way about floor plans that have the dinning room as the first thing coming from the main entrance.... I imagine real life and having any guests walk through the dinning room AND the kitchen to get to the living room 🥴 (I'm not fancy or anything but most of the time even if we have ppl over specifically for lunch or dinner, they will first spend a little time sitting in the living room)
I don’t think it’s that crazy. In 2 houses I’ve lived in, the dining room was the room to the right if you were to walk through the front door.
i think it depends on where you live (Country and even city wise) in NZ it kinda depends on the age of the house but the older houses always have living room frist and then a semi open plan dinning and kitchen attached. the newer builds are entirely open plan and will often have the kitchen and the dinning frist but since its open plan it doesnt make a huge difference.
I'd like to see a version of this challenge where it's still random colors but they have to be the same saturation aka whole house in pastels, neons or jewel tones 🤔

These everyroom as a color challenges always make me think of when my grandparents moved into their home the coat closet by the front door was a bright lime green color. Floor and walls were all lime green. They found it so random and hilarious they left it. Then they always enjoyed getting to tell new guest to please use the coat closet just so they could see the guest reactions to the small lime green room 😂
I like the white accents of furniture, flooring, crown molding, as it still manages to tie together those rooms that share those touches despite their otherwise wildly different colors.
I’m starting to worry Simsie might be colorblind. Cause purple is not navy blue and brown is not black 😅
Right? Monitors would not change the color that much between computers, and judging by the comments, we're all seeing the same colors but she's not. So either she's colorblind and doesn't know it, or she was fudging the results to make the build look good, instead of doing what a color challenge is supposed to be like.

Ooh, build challenge idea. Each room is built and themed around an absurd Sims 4 item. The bedroom is future cube. The front room is all about the cupcake machine. You better believe the bathroom is all about the modeling clay - clay isn't weird but the level of obsession Sims have with it is

I love these videos!!! It's always so fun!!! Also honestly the brown turned out soooooo good. So many of these rooms turned out super good actually! And its so fun to see them all together in the top down view!!
I think it would be super fun to see a rainbow house for pride month! Or really just any month. Something a little more intentional rather than like... using a randomizer and it being a happy accident of rainbow. The colorful builds are so fun!!

I love how you just used the colours for inspiration!! It kept the chaos but still made sure the house was cute and functional! The sims is a game, which is supposed to be fun and i can tell you had fun with this so im glad you did it!!

Watching her do this challenge is almost always frustrating. I’m sorry but it’s true. I’m over here trying to enjoy the build but in my mind yelling, “now u know good and damn well teal and mint ain’t the same damn color". Yeah, I’mma have pray over this 😔

I loved the video, but girl, you need to calibrate the monitor. Those colours that you said were the same definitely weren't, I'm not saying that they weren't the colour you said it looked, but they just were different to each other on video and if they look the same on the screen it's just too dark or too low contrast. And it's not the first time I got confused like that when you said that something is the same colour as something else when it clearly isn't and you can see the difference when they're next to each other. So it's clearly an issue with how your screen displays colours in real life.
