The audio of my recording is not perfect because some resonance can be heard. I think it's the bass caused the resonance because at times it was very deep.

Don’t think there’s anyone doing it better right now than Caroline and Mica Tenenbaum of Magdalena Bay. Might also include Dua Lipa. All-time greats, they are - and two out of three hardly anyone knows. (hell, even Lipa, though vastly more famous than Caroline or Mica, isn’t exactly the biggest star, not nearly as widely known as she deserves)
Mag Bay is so damn cool. Seen them live two times now. Definitely happy I got to see them once in a small venue before they got larger. Happy for their growth but man there is just such awesome energy in those small rooms plus got to get the autographed vinyl after 😁

Sadly, I didnt discover them til they were already pretty big, but just seeing some youtube vids of their shows, especially the small ones, was plenty to convince me of how gifted she is with working a crowd... as if I hadn't already thought she was multi-talented enough
@@jackstrawfulhell yea dude, she is so talented. Crazy energy on stage in the sense that she dances all over and never misses a beat or loses breath control. I'm sure she worked hard to get there.

@@BeSweet2MeBaby yeah. Several hundred shows I'd say of a wide variety of genres. Every act is a different vibe. She's one I'd definitely want to focus intently on.
@@bradleymartin5433 then you have to know that you cannot stop people from being people and that participation and singing along is a very common occurrence at concerts. You can participate or hate, the choice as always, is yours.

As much as I find the enthusiasm and support for Caroline by the audience thrilling , the sing along is ruining the gig…..unfortunately.
The crowd is the whole gig. It’s not Saturday night live.
I agree. I normally don't care about it at live shows (of which I've been to hundreds so I know how this works) but she's an other worldly vocalist. If I'm seeing her live I want to hear her as much as possible.

I get it, in the sense that being at a concert is about wanting to see an artist you like perform but another part of it is also being in the moment with a bunch of strangers. I'm almost 100% sure that the people singing along to that did not leave thinking "damn, I wish all those people weren't singing along."
