*RARE* [Delta] New Tower 3 & Historic White Engine Responding!

- Captured here is a rare and special sight in the City of Delta, BC. Early in October Delta Fire Hall No. 3 was running a 1994 reserve engine, one of the oldest in the fleet, as their regular Engine 3 was out of service for repairs. The old Spartan engine still sports the long discontinued white livery of the fire department in Delta. Ironically, Hall 3 is also home to one of the newest trucks in the fleet, Tower 3. This 2018 Spartan was just recently put into service and stood in contrast with the historic reserve unit. In the video you will see both the engine and the tower responding to separate emergency calls. The engine was called out for two medical emergencies and Tower 3 took a fire call as they were just about to conduct daily checks and tests on the ladder. For the engine to be a '94, still not in bad shape, not to mention the fresh light kit on it spruced it up a bit. No shame in using a reserve. As long as it runs great, roll it.

Maybe once the borders reopen. At the moment there is no way. I’ve been to Seattle a few times though and still have some videos to upload :)

@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses Stands for Service Exchange Vehicle. It’s the label they give to all the spare trucks that are used as replacements whenever appliances are being serviced or under repairs

Did they upgrade the sirens on that engine? Theres no way whelen made that siren in 1994! Overall awesome video and catches!
That is definitely possible. I’m not an expert on sirens, but it is an older model.
