- I am at Fox's Pizza Den in Hendersonville, TN with my friend Chris (Old guy eats) and we are going to attempt their Big One pizza challenge. This challenge is a 30" pizza with a one hour time limit. Toppings are customizable and can be either two meats, four veggies, or 1 meat and two veggies. If we are successful we will be the first team in six years to win at this location and we will go up on the wall of fame, get the meal for free, and get $100 to split! This is Chris' first challenge in Tennessee and we are hoping to get him a win! Great job, as you and Chris rocked it! Nice also helpin out with the last couple of pieces. I like the tomato, spinach, and ham combo. Since I like ham w/pineapple, I’d have done that along w/spinach. And don’t worry Amber, way way back in the day, when I was on a diet, I went to Mr. Gatti’s buffet and had nothing but the salad bar and cravin the pizza but had willpower to not have one slice. As for Walmart, we do the same, as end up gettin lots more stuff, and one time I’ve even forgotten items that what I was supposed to get. Lol. Oh, lastly, after that ice cream challenge, my tongue is still raw from all the cold, but still worth it with the win. Thx for lettin me know about that challenge. Later!

Pizza being on cardboard box probably worked out better than a 'pan' - pizza isn't hot as long. I know that a lot of "eaters" don't like their food to be hot or even a little more than warm sometimes.
Totally agree, pizza can be tricky. You want it warm enough that the crust remains soft but not so hot it burns your mouth.

Nice job! Eating the crust first I think is a good idea. Letting it cool makes it more chewy I think.

congratz, wouldn't be a true pizza challenge without mushrooms, (ya know i had to go there) but I would put shrooms on pizza due to added moisture it might add, mild/sweet sausage, black olive my choices, no i didn't get triggered by the box, i just turned my monitor a little :) thanks for video, have a great weekender.

Hi Eli - I have never had spinach on a pizza... if fact I have never thought about having spinach on a pizza.
It was a strategy topping, I figured it would cook down quite a bit.
Have you been training more for these challenges? You seem to make them look alot easier for you.
I would do a half and half to.

I'm always trying to improve something, it's a little easier as I keep going however I will continue to push myself and sometimes I may fly a little to close to the sun as they say.

I just had for the first time a cherry pineapple pizza which was really good. It was intentionally created as a dessert pizza though.
