The hero we needed, much appreciated
Thank you!
Absolute Legend!
Thanks u mr know it alls
As a fairly new DM who is about to run this campaign, and often doesn’t have the time or the attention span to sit down and read the book, this resource has been incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for doing this.
Part 3??? Oh no! 😭This let’s read has made my life of studying CoS so much easier but 8 months later we still haven’t gotten the next part. 😖 Please release whatever you’ve got and we will appreciate it just as much as these two 🥺
Thanks so much. I'm studying CoS right now for the campaign I'm running, right now. Your videos helped me a lot.
Oh man I just looked for part three and realized it hasn't been made yet. Ahhhhhh! Thank you for what you have done here, I listen to these at work to help plan my campaign since I don't have as much time to sit down and read the book more than once. Hopefully my party won't get past Vallaki before the last one comes out!!
It's out now.
I can not being to tell you how useful this guide has been. Thank you so much. I have ADHD and this module was totally inaccessible to me. This has completely changed that and has allowed me to actually prep instead of reading along while I’m running. Thank you!
Thanks for this - I find it super relaxing to watch late at night and slowly fall asleep to.
D&D ASMR!
Just another person here to say that you've done such a great job with these videos, and to gently nudge you towards finishing the next one. We appreciate the work you put into these!!!
Thank you, I will try to post more often now.
Your videos have saved my game. It’s an intimidating one, but a LOT of fun if your PCs are into it
Vallaki is daunting as all hell! Thank you for doing this, I listen to it at work regularly
Thank you thank you thank you for creating this! so much easier to digest the information with all the information being read to you and the visuals shown in the video. I have the book to refer to but was struggling reading through it to get an idea of the story. This has been so much easy to take in the story. Thanks again!
Keep doing these man. These are helping me so much with planning my campaign.
Thank you so much! 4 years ago I was getting in trouble at work for reading too much curse of strahd, now at my new job I can listen to your videos while I work 🥰
Hell yeah I was hoping for more curse of strahd from you after seeing part 1!
You have no idea how useful this is
Please hurry with the third part of this! My party are just at Vallaki now and this has been so helpful, thank you
This video series is indispensable in my planning and running of CoS. I've read the book and written personal notes all through it, but to truly internalize the knowledge for games these videos are the best. Listening and re-listening to them as I go about my day makes it possible to know Barovia like the back of my hand in game. Great job!
Awesome! I am super excited for Part 3. Im especially looking forward to Castle Argynvost!
Keep the great work up, I'll be waiting patiently
Hope sometimes pays off! You have motivated me to DM this campaign I am so excited to witness the second part of your Herculean in-depth guides!
I was here for this great video. 1st watching the premier. Only two more days to wait basically!

Hell yeah man, been waiting on this for quite some time!
Omg you came back can't wait for parts 2
Really want to run this campaign for some friends it would be my first time as a DM and their first campaign. So I might be jumping in at the deep end but these videos will be a massive help.
I am sure that it will be an excellent video just last the last one!!! Can't wait to watch it!!
This series is an absolute lifesaver, thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for these videos they are helping me run my curse of strahd campaign. You’ve got the perfect voice for curse of strahd.
Can’t wait for part 3
Love your work! I am sure putting this together takes a significant amount of time but cannot wait for part 3!
Hope you keep making videos!
This one was really good
In my campaign, I had Aragal be the one who took the PCs into his cart for a mission from his lord, and "accidentally" got them lost into the mists.
He dropped them off at Vallaki village where his lord awaited them, telling the PCs to go to the dead house to meet him. As soon as they go inside, he bails.
The players, finding out this is a wild goose chase, are now keen to find the vistani Aragal and hear of the nearby camp from villagers. They go to the small camp and ask for him, but he is not there. They are told they should go to the main vistani camp far in the west, where their leader resides, he would know where Aragal is.
When the players many sessions later got there and saw that the vistani camp leader was Aragal himself, they almost flew out of their chairs. Of course he was well prepared with many vistani guards.
He plays the victim card and says that it was Strahd who told him to bring the PCs to ravenloft, under threat of death to him and all vistani. He had no way to resist. Of course this is a lie, and when the PCs are assuaged and leave the camp, Aragal makes way to castle Ravenloft to inform his lord and plans to ambush them in the castle.
These videos have been a big help where I can listen while working, thank you for taking the time and effort to make these. Looking forward to part 3!
Thanks so much man! You're giving me the knowledge and inspiration I need to run my own Curse of Strahd!
I LOVE the Diablo Tristram theme in the background. Fits PERFECTLY
So how have i never seen you stuff before. I have been binge watching all of your stuff, subscribed immediately. Thanks for this and keep them coming.
I am unbelievably lucky, 2 weeks ago you put out part three.. i just bought CoS and have all of them parts at my disposal. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to further help GM's. I get distracted and have a hard time focusing while reading but hearing and preparing it on Roll20 while you speak has made me absorb this soon to be great campaign so much better
awesome... i'm just about to transition my group from their foray into the moathouse to this campaign
This is incredible! Thank you so much, friend! This is an amazing resource!
This is a phenomenal resource! I've been running CoS and these videos have been invaluable. Thank you!
Thanks for this! Great video. Really helps me get a holistic overview before I pour through the book in detail
Dude, your videos are the best. I've watched them all and I can't imagine how much times goes in - but the insight that comes out to the community is amazing. And so relaxing! Please keep making these overviews of adventures. Nobody else does what you do!
I needed this so much! My brain was so scattered. Look forward to seeing more!
Thanks again for the read through, it's helping me out a lot and I hope part 3 comes out soon dood. We'll done on the commentary and editing and good luck for the future my man.
Really looking forward to Part 3!
This guide has been extremely helpful!!
Pleeeease make part 3! These videos are so useful and my players are catching up to what I'm properly prepared for!
Hope you keep these videos up. Love it!!
These videos are super helpful!
Best strahd guide out there, well done
This is brilliant. Eagerly awaiting next part
I'll be running this campaign in about a month!! Looking forward to part 3.
Just found your videos. Can't wait for part 3. I was really intimidated by this adventure, but your walking through the book with tips makes it not so intimidating. I really want to make this enjoyable for my players. Thanks again.
It is Tristam music from the game Diablo. A classic.
Thank you for making these videos!
This was amazing I can’t wait for part 3
Well done. Nice pace.
great vid. cant wait till part 3
Just found your channel! Very good ! even though I'm not running this campaign - its great to follow along for future notes.
Great reading of CoS. Look forward to the Amber Temple.
I have watched part I & II like 3x apiece. Great work.
Needed an audio version of a walk through for cos. Thanks!
Great stuff, though the pronunciation of Vallaki drives me a bit bonkers. Try Vuh-Lock-Ee, which is intended to be similar to Vuh-Lock-Ee-Uh (Wallachia) which is the Romanian territory that Vlad Tepes ruled (who was the inspiration for the stories of Dracula, and therefore Strahd). The V does have a bit of W in it, though (or the other way around if you prefer). Also, the z in "Krezk" is much softer, and somewhat between a z and an s.
Thank you for the origins of the names, this is very interesting. I love eastern european accents and folk tales but sadly I am curse with this accent and no native speakers to talk to.
You are my hero, thank you so much 🖤
These are great!!
keep up the good work !
Can't wait till you do part 3.
Thank you for making this video
Do a lot more of these pls!
Fantastic work, I hope part three is still in the cards.
This is so useful
Finally part 2!
You should do this for a few modules. It made my campain alot easier thank you
This is such a brilliant resource! Thank you so much!!!
This has been so helpful. When can we expect part 3?
i would love to see princes of the Apocolypse as a guide. but for real gained a sub with this stuff.
Very helpful!
These vids are really helpful!!! Will there be a part 3?
I know it has be a long time but will you continue to make videos? these read throughs are awesome and would love if you did more of them
You're awesome at this. Do you think you could do a run down for " the world's largest dungeon"?
yay! part 2!!
Thanks for the guides man, they’ve been real helpful. I’ll raise a ‘peent’ of beer in your honor at the bar *wink*
Please make a sequel! These guides are incredibly helpful.
Yay. Finally
God I'm so excited
Where's the last parts? I loved this. Please continue!
Me, "ill pick an easy one this time, something I don't have to work on to much"
Me 72 hours later, "and I almost have a little bit started"
great video. If the order would be where the stuff is and how it is kind of thought to be done, it would be perfect.
I didn't realize there's two parts!
Thank you good sir. I'm starting my cos campaign next month just waiting for my first baby is born(a baby girl by the way😊) I'm hoping for a part 3 before I finish valaki 😁
Good luck with your new baby, I'm sure you'll make her into an absolute star! :)
Great work, unfortunately there are no time stamps nor any new videos in the series thus far. A pity. I was looking forward to more content. Anyway, thank you for what you've done. Good job.
Do you have plans to continue this style of guide perhaps for another module?
Part 3 please! ^^
Check my recent upload! :)
These are fantastic. Thanks so much.
Great Work! Will there be a next part any time soon? :)
The Chaotic Evil captain "is so drunk that he has disadvantage on attack rolls".
And yet he's still able to whip a guy strapped to a pole.
That doesn't make sense...
@@dagothur6739 Because, he has disadvantage on attack rolls. Whipping someone counts as an attack. I don't care if the prick's strapped to a pole, the guy whipping him has to miss sometimes, right?
Please could you make a guide for hoard of the dragon queen or tyranny of dragons
Part 3 please!
@Your Pocket DM I hope everything is ok, we have been waiting for Part 3 and you've been M.I.A for a while
I'm back in action! Check my recent upload! :)
@@YourPocketGM Will do, I have not played since the 3rd Edition, I was mostly AD&D 2nd Edition and Ravenloft was my favorite and Forgotten Realms but I really enjoy this.
Anyone know where to find a stride campaign kit? Examples like Wax stamp kits, tarot cards and random trinkets?
Can you make time stamps? I want to skim to the early parts in the adventure and find out about krezk since I’m gonna skip the death house and start there
More!
A question for those who are already running the campaign: Do you do a fortune telling for each player? Wouldn't you end up with too many companions for them to find, and to many locations for, for instance, the sun sword?
I typically have one for each player; remember that not all readings are good!
