Although the driveshafts in this are plastic they are built better than other plastic driveshafts. I've been running the driveshafts out of the fy003 in my son's MN99S and they actually have done very good I was impressed.

Longer and Narrower than the MN (I put them side by side in the original FY003 Vid. I think this a little nicer looking

Do you know if the WPL metal axle kit will fit this truck? I purchased this truck and I’d love to order the WPL metal axle kit for it. It looks like it would fit and the metal drive shafts look like they’ll fit as well. I’d also be installing a new servo and esc. Sorry if you already covered this answer I’m new to the MN/WPL scene👍

Is this still a good choice to buy? Or are there better options for the same budget?
I have fy003-1 and 99s. But fy003-1 is much much smoother than 99s.
But if you like 99s and keep running with stock esc, you can change the motor with c24 motor and gearbox kit version. Your 99s will run smoother (i'm sorry for my english 🙏)

I think the Panda Hobby Tetra's has them all, just needs a better esc for throttle control. The oil shocks are so much nicer. They both look nice though. :)
Yes, but double the price
$40.00 dollars more, and needs a few upgrades. So the Fayee might be a better crawler out of the box.

A lot of the WPL/MN Models stuff will fit. But to be honest, it's really good out the box?!

I think the body is more in keeping scale wise than the mn. But, the mn body is more detailed. If this shares the same gearbox it will fail! Every thing iv had from the wpl and mn stable that uses this box have all failed. A nice little upgrade will see it right tho. Another cool rig and a great review. Well done again Phil 👌
Cheers Arron... I've not had an issue with Gearboxes unless I've over worked them. Maybe you had a bit of bad luck. Generally they are pretty good

tbh I still prefer the mn99 because it has beefier links and driveshafts and better color options

So i purchased 3 of these from Banggood, took nearly 3 months to arrive. 1 was broke. Tried a second order, ordered 3 cars and loads of upgrades for them. They decided after about a week that 2 cars were now out of stock, then sent the upgrades anyway. A complete sham of a company if you're not a youtuber. Avoid.

Will not recommend bang good anymore as I have reached out multiple times to them without a solution. I received a crawler with a bad speed controller it won’t move just steers. They keep telling me to be patient with them and this was all the way back in June of this year. I have filed a better business bureau complaint on them. Please keep this in mind folks before ordering.
