The cool thing about these jazz blues licks is they have this nice and easy HIP feel to them ,don't STOP here,... keep them coming.

    Robert
This has a lovely feel and is enough of a challenge in emphasis and Timing to be a real joy when you get it right
    Thank you Robert 🙏

As ever beautifully played and simply explained but also with enough theory so you can understand how to reuse it in other keys and licks. Simple and effective. It's what makes Robert one of the very best teachers online.

Good point. I recorded the performance but the breakdown got lost. I’ll have to film it.

Love the playing, but is it necessary to move your pick so much between using it? It's like a tick that is distracting. I get it though, I do stuff like that too. Just a weird observation. Keep up the good work and rest that pick hand! :-)

Every time! Every damn time I watch a new video of yours Robert, I am knocked out by your composition and playing. The plain shirt scares me though.
