  • PLEASE NOTE: new laws came into effect in Victoria on 27 October 2014 introducing the criminal offence of failing to disclose a reasonable belief that an adult has committed a criminal offence against a child under the age of 16 to police. All adults, including youth workers and other professionals who work with young people, may face criminal prosecution if they fail to make a report to police in certain circumstances.
