  • Canada recently announced its latest immigration plan, with a target of welcoming half a million newcomers per year by 2050. However, the immigration system is still seeing a significant backlog across the board. Foreign workers and international students have been waiting to get their applications processed - some are even forced to leave the country. We examine the state of Canada's immigration system.
