Ma'am I am a class 11th student and currently preparing for JEE. I am interested in astrophysics and want to ask - 1) should I go for btech or bsc after 12? 2) Can I do MSc from foreign after btech? (Money is not a big problem for me) 3) should I do BSc in physics? What about iisc? 4) If btech then which is best for astrophysics? IIT indore? Thank you :)
1.BTech is more engineering oriented whereas BSc is more research oriented. So you should opt for Bsc if you want to be an Astrophysicist or Astronomer. 2.I would recommend you crack JEE with a good rank to get into IISc as it's the best research institute in India for Basic Science or you can apply for Public German Universities for BSc with good marks in 12th (+90%) and a good rank in JEE ( under 10000). 3.IISc is nice for BSc Physics with good ranking in top world rankings. 4.If you want to do BSc in IIT then go for IIT-B,IIT-K,IIT-M or IIT-KGP as they all have good facilities. Hope that it can solve your query ✨✨
Hi..i have completed Bsc physics.... Which stream is better to do for pg course in uk.... Which stream is job oriented after physics.... What about medical physics.....
Mam from which university in india have u pursued your undergrad and how have you reached to PhD at NYC also what's your field of research ? I request you to answer all of these questions
Hi, although I’m Indian by ethnicity I have always been in NYC and did all of my studies in NYC so my journey is a bit different. My field of research is on topological insulators and my current research is about quantum anomalous Hall effect where I’m trying to quantize a thick topological insulator with a high Curie Temperature. I could explain in details more if you’re interested! Thanks.

The first step in pursuing a PhD in physics is to have a Bachelor’s degree in physics. If you already have that then you can head over to my video that talks about how to apply to PhD schools 👉czcams.com/video/nn9Y0MNfxnM/video.html
Depends upon university. In india like manipal university asks payment while if u go to iiser or abroad ur phd research is opted as work experience so u are not a student but rather an employee of the institution. Thus u will get stipend as a salary. I will recommend to find ur intarest in study and researchband write letter to abroad unoversity. U will get a good stipend and a good experience in countries like usa norway switzerland germany. I am doing my phd on dual matter physics in norway 😊 Hope it helps
