I spent a god damn month looking for Splinter from the Mutant Mayhem line. Now that I have him.. he falls over constantly! How you gonna be a master sensei and not even be able to stand properly ffs!
I don't think he's saying there's anything wrong with it but majority of us don't play with our figures we just buy them and honestly put them up on display and that's about it lol
There's really nothing wrong with playing with action figures. but for some of us who collects the imports from the japanese companies, most of them are high-end valuable and WAY too expensive to play with and risk broke them lol. so we only display most of them on the shelves/glass cabinet
If you play with them I 100% back anybody on that. Over the years I’ve had comments of people asking if they can play with them and I always say yes, but if it’s an expensive figure to just be careful or Mafex cause something might break lol

I collect I'm a bit flipped. My parents think I only play with my figures when It's with my little brothers, and they're on display most of the time (by the way in a teenager 😅) But sometimes when I'm just chilling in my room I'll totally do that Moon Knight vs Thing battle but with either Batman and Killer Croc, or Hulk and Captain America 😂

I collect some lovely ornaments for my shelves, just because yours are anime or character based doesn't make it any different, you like something that you want on display to look at and appreciate, everyone does it, young and old 🤷🏻♀️ I always like going into menkind and seeing their anime character and light cabinets. Very expensive items but you can really appreciate the detail
I do love posing and Taking photos of my collection and also create different scenes of crossovers😅 action figures is about making your imagination run wild and go crazy with Enjoyment of your own Universe and story ❤ of your own Characters
Some collectors have that one or few figures that are their favorite and can help but “play”. When i say play I mean pose them around or that one figure they bring with them for the fun factor

My way to enjoy my figures is posing them, taking pictures and post them in twitter or instagram. Also making my own custom figures, i just finished Raven Beack from Metroid and now i'm crafting Ichigo in Vasto Lorde form from Bleach.
