- This video is part 3 of my thru-hike of the Tahoe Rim Trail. Again, I saw so many beautiful places. Including Watson Lake and Richardson Lake.
I also got to go into Tahoe City to pick up my resupply, have a warm meal and clean up and laundry. By these days I was already feeling stronger and better.
I can't tell you how much I miss this trail.

I'm really enjoying your journey. I was lucky to day-hike a few very short segments back in the mid 1980s before the entire trail was completed. The Tahoe area is near and dear to my heart so thank you for sharing your epic experiences there.

@@DebCampos The only difference I can see is a few more dead/dying trees, but even back then there were some. The views over the lake from Spooner are just as I remember them. Hope your week is great, too.

Nice first bear encounter. Some of the mountain bikers I have met on local trails are very courteous. Most come barreling through at full speed and I have to use my trekking poles to launch off the trail. Very frustrating! Town food. Yay! The struggle is real. On the PCT 😊

I would’ve been so scared hearing that bear breathe! You’re quite the celebrity on the trail. You have fans. Watch Mommy & Me Adventures. A Mom & her 7 yr old daughter are hiking the AT. So cool watching the little girl. They’ve hiked from GA to NJ so far.
LoL 😂! I think I'm easily recognizable 😂! I'll tell you, I was scared when I heard it right next to my tent 😱😱! I'll definitely check them out. I really love seeing the little ones on the trail 🤠🤠!

Thank you 😊😊! Actually, I'm not sure what caused it. Right on the final days. I think it was the extremely rocky trail in desolation wilderness. My next trail runner shoe will have a rock plate. Have a great week 🌳🌳🌳!
How about a cougar? I think they're a little further up the Pacific Crest Trail though in NorCal. I'd love to be there hiking, so jealous 😃
