What do you remember most about high school classes? The piles of textbooks, the blackboards, or maybe the students who scrambled for the teacher's attention? In the age of artificial intelligence, some classrooms are evolving into dynamic hubs of innovation. CGTN's Liu Jiaxin visits a high school in China's Hebei Province where the fusion of AI tech and traditional education is reshaping the learning experience, from classroom quizzes to student health.

It’s free or very close to being free. However, you have to be tested into these high schools and they are EXTREMELY difficult to get in. There are similar schools for elementary school as well with much better conditions, also need to be tested in. They are almost like for gifted kids, not for the population at large. Maybe that’ll change we can all be hopeful, but just keep in mind that China has a humongous population and education is very competitive, to the extent that it can even be damaging to children because it’s more of a “survival of the fittest” situation there.

@@luceafarul579 amazing. I understand. It's not unlike how it works in Slovenija I imagine. For example, I did well in school and finals so I could go to every high school except one lmao. There they had a few spots for people who wanted to pay but even those would get ranked and compete for spots. In high school finals I did well enough to go to an IT college but not well enough to qualify for medical, dentistry, law, or psychology. That was the situation back then.
I regret trying hard because I wouldn't have to for where I was going. Amazing tho. I imagine tuition in the US would be at least like 50k a year if not more

American schools are very busy debating how many genders there are, can’t decide what restrooms a student with self identified gender should using. Who should go into which change room and if boys taking hormone blockers could participate in girls sports.

Looks like, teacher who really cares about their students, and students who are disciplined and well behaved. Not your American schools where drug runs the day.
