Note to Reverb: I liked having Andy's description transcript within the video notes as they were done on Tone Report. This allowed reading it in the intro bit and better comprehension during Andy's description presentation segment. Made it easy to have a heads up for key points a viewer may wish to focus on.
Nonetheless, Andy still top of FX demonstrators ever online.

Nick Casale you know when I first started watching Andy like 9 friggin years ago I used to think there was something weird about his voice for some reason. Now I don’t trust a gear review without hearing the trustworthy voice

It's because Bonamassa made a comment in an interview about guitarists being "F**king Lazy if they use pedals but I think it was sort of taken out of context. I get the feeling he is more talking about guitarists that do only soundscapes and ethereal noise on guitar and not really playing anything of substance. It would be no different than the millions of guitarists who talk trash about rappers who are just looping and sampling tracks without actually writing any of the music themselves. I can't say I completely agree with Joe but I don't completely disagree.
I see EXH pedals like the Super Ego+ allowing guitarists who do have skills the ability to come up with new ideas over soundscapes and pedal tones. But if all you do is just twist knobs and push buttons to make weird sounds and then record it without knowing anything about really playing your instrument (ie. chords, scales, harmony, etc) then yeah I can see where he is coming from.

Sean Rogers Andy has a select few core pedals that never seem to change,really no massive pedal board . he changes out the speciality pedals as is needed. He is a mr gismo, his board changes regularly , keeping it awesome sounding and interesting . Not pedals for pedals sake. But pedals for best tone, its all about the tone.

Reverb seem to consistently have really harsh bright guitar tones; I've heard pedals I *know* I like sound like craaaaap on their demos

Anyone else use this pedal? Tried one at guitar supermarket but hated the weak tracking on it. Does it always track badly?
Hi Felix, I had same issue as you. The original superego 2015 one was better sound for me and easier to use. Just better sound quality and more character. With the superego + I found it a bit shit. Maybe you could try the original superego.
The best thing I’ve done is get a superego and then put the empress nebulus in effects loop. That way you get really high quality flanger, chorus and vibrato. Trust me it works a charm.
i just got this pedal and it’s absolutely amazing! tracks perfectly for me, gotta be careful with the threshold knob because that is exactly what effects the tracking, fully clockwise is full tracking and counter clockwise tracks only only on harder picking attacks.

I'm a huge fan of Andy's reviews from PGS, and I'm a huge fan of Reverb (I do a lot of buying and selling on there). I am not, however, a huge fan of how Andy's reviews have changed since it has been branded as Reverb. The sound quality is really lacking, his descriptions and scripts and descriptions are lower quality, and there is a strange slapback delay to his voice whenever he talks that just sounds strange. I'm excited for this pairing between you guys, but please do something about these videos!
The freeze sounds sound like a very bad synth.

Sometimes I think bad demos actually lose customers; EHX should probably take this down.
