This is going to make me alot more comfortable.. My front right tooth is gone (fighting) and i have been making my temp tooth ever since but its always too white. There for people look at it when im talking on occasion. This video just made my whole year thx for uploading it.
No problem, I'm glad this video was of help for you. Thank you for commenting =]
Would love to find out how you've been doing with this? Is it comfortable enough? Does it stay there even if you chew? How long did it take you to make you perfect tooth? Thanks
Same here,,
Practicing is the key. I practiced several hours a day over the course of a week to find the perfect color and tooth.
Yes I gave up after first trying this but I know I can't afford dental surgery so I know I'm going to give this another shot
You need to use teeth glue for this ?? Or does it just stick
@@francesca_0022 denture glue would work best
I have done this for a couple months now thanks for the idea. Broken front tooth🙄 I've never had anybody ask me if the tooth is fake.Tea works best to tint it however it discolors so fast best bet is to just leave it. In a day it will darken. To whiten it I soak it in diluted bleach water for a couple hours. Wash it off really good before you put it back in. Also don't eat or drink anything really hot as it will melt it!! Best to make extra so you have them in case.
thank you , I am getting beads for a friend who broke their tooth. This tutorial is very helpful and will be forwarded to her for tinting the beads once they arrive in her mail.
My natural teeth have more of a greyish tint to them and this was making them too yellow so I used food coloring-blue, green and red to get a grey tint and mixed it with some tea. I made two colors, one darker than the other to make sure to get the color just right. I followed your instructions and got a great tooth that is so close to my natural teeth its crazy. When you are mixing the food coloring you have to play with it to find the best color for you.
Wow! Great tip! We didn't even think of incorporating food coloring. Thanks so much for commenting that tip.
What a great idea! Thank you so much!!!
@@hollysjem8723 You have to heat the color up several times and then cool, I did it about 4 to 5 times, each time taking a bit of it and rolling it into a ball and holding it up to my teeth. I've been doing it for 2 yrs now and even have showed others how to do it too.
omg ty sooo for the instructions on tinting ...this is an AWESOME product
Great idea and works fantastically. I just lost a front center bottom tooth and bought a bag of instamorph at amazon and with the tinting I can't even tell which tooth was missing. lol
Took a bit to find this idea. Not a lot of vid's on the subject. If you changed it to temp tooth instead of cosmetic teeth you would most likely get a lot of hits. Just a thought, no worries and thanks for the info!!!!!
Me too i have two teeth that didn’t grow yet 😅
Hi, i wear partials & they are too light colored for my regular teeth, does this tinting process work for partials as well? Thanks!
Awesome advice and tutorial..Thanks a bunch!!
Glad it was helpful!
I find I use 6-7 balls per front/dracula tooth. I also heat in coffee (1-1.5 tsp/cup) for exactly 2 minutes to get shade A2 on my tooth. You could do 1 minute if you drink a lot of coffee for the tooth will get darker than the others after a weeks worth of coffee. I just make another tooth as you can do like 200 teeth prolly..for 30 bones! What's that...like a dime a tooth?....ohh yeah!!!
The key is like you said...make an oblong shape the approximate width of your tooth space. Then, mold quickly inside to outward to match other teeth length and concavity...then work the edges to get the gel to match laterally in the grooves, but be careful. I had a crowned tooth next that's loose and on the first take tooth attempt, I had to drink hot coffee and swish for a second to get the gel to loosen... quickly! So, watch not to get the lateral edges too tight or you won't be able to "snap in and out" like you advised! You may not get the tooth out easily at all if too tight. It's a fine line as the lateral support really makes it stick, but not too much! Dremel it if you can squeeze it out while hot. Otherwise, swish hot coffee and take a pallet burn! Lol ! Only takes one before you get that width perfect! You may also get a thin layer of fluff to brush upwards on your pallet, but a Dremel works out all my rough edges..or/then small scissors.
Once you get the "V" shape down to fit the gumline, the lateral edge shapes needed, and used to the snapping in and out, dremeling, fine work, etc, you've got a great replacement tooth. Takes me bout 45 minutes for a replacement..that feels natural and not like my implant on the other top side.
Kinda thinking just sticking with this replacement as that plastic bitch is tighter than most of my crowns (to the gumline), feels natural like my crowned teeth and not my implant, and is way cheaper than the 4000 or whatever my dentist wanted for an implant there..before COVID! I'm sure it's like 8k now! Anyway, I hope this helps someone else that don't have a life savings to give to the rat dentists that suck you dry of money..just so they can go to Cabo on it instead of me..fml..Anyway,. I'm in over 50k..easily..so, I definitely wished I woulda found this earlier! Thanks for all you guys' advice!!
I cant seem to get the right tint on mine. I have like a slight cold green/Blue tint to my teeth. If I drip the temp tooth in coffe it gets to yellowish or brown.
This type is amazing!!!!
Awesome vid thank you!
For DENTURES that are too WHITE, you can also do this. Stain them with the tea same as you do for the faux tooth, but will need to have stronger tea and leave in longer as dentures are stain resistant. Then you'll have to be careful about using the cleaning tablets on your dentures as that will remove the stain. But then.... you can stain them again.
For the faux tooth or for dentures, if you darken it too much, you could use a foaming denture cleaner tablet, remove the stain, then do it again with a less strong tea.
Hello! Would you happen to know if they could be stained with coffee grounds as well and for how long in coffee or coffee grounds? Thanks again! 😊
@@WitchyMomma I'd use tea. Coffee doen'st stain as reliably. And tea only takes 1 teabag (black tea, not green or herbal) in about 1/2 cup of hot water, and leave in for 10 min... check the color, then put the dentures back in the water if not dark enough. If they get too dark then use a dental cleaning tablet and then start over.
but you can try coffee... make it strong, leave in for 10 mintues, check the color.
The dentist warned me not to go so white on the dentures, but noooooo, I didn't listen... :(
did the dentures loose its shape? i got mine too white, its three tooth that has a real teeth between them so i scared that if its loose shape
@@hoyyav4849 I'm not sure what you mean, how did they lose shape? This was about trying to stain dentures that are too white. Dentures themselves can lose shape if stored dry instead of in water, and the first couple of years you need to get them refitted, but that's just your mouth changing or maybe they get loose naturally, shrinkage? don't know.
Great video! Thank you.
Ive tried this even before I watched the video but I used Chinese tea and it didn't work maybe I should try with normal tea. Thanks
This was super helpful than,k you!!
How long could you use it in your mouth for( without taking it out)?
I leave it in until it gets too stained. From coffee, smoking, ect. Then I make another
I finally got my tooth shaped to as perfectly fit as I could, but I didn’t realize it was supposed to be done before shaping . Have you tried soaking it in after it’s shaped? Will it tiny still? I don’t want to mess up the tooth shaping again :/ I have it soaked in tea and coffee. Hopefully by the next morning something happens
pandie did it work?
@@Aristia_ nope
My dentires are way to white looks so fake Can i do this to darken them to look age appropriate?
Can i get this in 5-10 gm online where can i get them
I would like to replace part of my dental prosthesis, how do I get the material a pink color, can it be colored, what color is it possible to use?
Hi Fred, as far as these replacement beads go they can be dyed. I am unsure about your dental prosthesis. Provide us more info on the material and we can try to assist. :)
What about when you get dentures and they are toooo uniformly bright white
Looks like a tooth whitening gone too far 😢
What material are the beads made of? I have an acrylic partial that I have to wear for 3 month to adjust my bite. It is way to light compared to my teeth and I would like to darken it. How long do you leave the bead/tooth in the tea?
Anal beads. Now get biting. 🫦
Thanks!
I need to know how to whiten my temp tooth which is made from Plastic Thermal Beads.. love the product expect for the discolouration from eating & drinking! it's now a nasty yellow/light orangy color! IVE TRIED TEETH WHITENING WITH NO RESULTS AT ALL! & they're not easy to take out once it's in... HELP!!!!!
Couldn't you make a fresh one
You really should make a fresh one. I made several just in case and I carry an extra around with me in my purse just in case.
I've made a very thin layer of beads to cover the brown since it took me so long to mold it and it fits perfect I didn't want to go thru all that again
Soak it in diluted bleach water for a couple hours and wash it off really good before you put it back in. Works for me and cleans the tooth. If you can't get it out drink a hot coffee that will get it out.
Can you use this method with the tea on dentures?
This comment is old but did you ever find out if you can do this with dentures ? Asking because I got mine too white .
Would this work on instasmile veneers because i love mine but there a little too white?
Hello pretty
I JUST got permenant front caps 2 of them Nd I chose the wrong color they r too white... is there anything you know of what I can do permanently? I can not take them out either and soak them in tea etc
Did u get it right
Thanks man
Could use temptooth if half a tooth is broken?
Yes temptooth can help, but might need to practice several times to get it to look natural.
Hi Trying tohelp:
Thanks for this, it's very useful. Just one thing: Can it be done with cold tea or coffee leaving it in for a longer time? That would save having to reshape it. I read somewhere where it was left in tea for hours, and that sounds like it must have been cold. But then the color could be much more accurate, couldn't it?
Did you try this? Ive got mine in cold tea now for about 10-15 mins and i dont think its really working lol
I’ve left mine in cold tea for 24 hours. I don’t see a difference
I've made loads of these cosmetic teeth from polymorph, I'm getting quite an expert. But however I don't bother tinting them anymore coz they discolour quite quickly. What I need is something to stop them discolouring so quickly. I've tried most things . But if anyone knows of anything that will slow this down if love to hear it x
I was thinking of painting them with clear nail polish. Did you try that?
Would you recommend anything to help shape them better? I figured some dental cleaning tools should work.
Clear nail polish!
Bleach with a Q-tip
Soak it in diluted bleach water for a couple hours. It works to lighten up the tooth.
Is the color just on the surface of the tooth,?
yes, also note eating with it on will stain the tooth.
Can you do this if the tea of coffee is cold?
No, the tea or coffee needs to be hot to soften up the thermal bead.
If they go too yellow how do you whiten them again
Please see our other video on how to alter the color. Trying2help.com
how do you clean them?
Dip the tooth in warm milk
would a hot beverage soften the tooth once it's in your mouth?
No. It would have to be a VERY hot beverage
The Plastic beads soften at 140 degrees. That's way to hot to drink. Your standard Hot water in your house is set at 120 degrees, you know how that is = way to hot to put in your mouth, so Hot drinks are not a problem at all.
@@TryingToHelp , TFS, 'CONSIDERING' BUYING some of THOSE BEADS.... *STILL CONTEMPLATING* 🤣🤣🤣😉
My question is how do keep the same color, because as I eat it gets spoiled from curry's
Soaking in baking soda at night has helped lighten the color for us. Trying2help.com 😁
I'm trying to tint my plastic fangs.. Coffee and tea aren't working at all.. What do I do???
you’re going to want to use sandpaper and lightly scratch off that smooth surface, (it has a coating, that’s why) then use coffee to do it :)
Make tobacco water with 1/4 c water and 1/4 c tobacco (buy in tobacco store) soak the fangs in boiling tobacco water for 5 mins repeat as needed. Then call van Helsing and tell him you need a dentist.
Do you know how to whiten them?
Drop them in warm milk
It works from ordinary coffee?
Trying thanks
would this work for Scarecrow vampire fangs?
Sure would! Trying2help.com
You think it can it darken veneers?
it melded with my real teeth, how can i remove the one that got stuck, help pls
Drink something hot, it'll melt again enough to take it out
You can try drinking a warm beverage to soften the product for easy removal. They are non-toxic if accidentally ingested. Trying2help.com
Ok but how do you make them white again
You can try soaking them in baking soda. Trying2help.com
Would like to order
In Kenya how can I get it

What brand beads r u using?
We use beads from trying2help.com 😁
the shipping cost more than the product
So any tips to keep them white perhaps??
Nastassia W put a NON TOXIC (specifically non toxic!!) clear (or white) sealant.
Soak it in diluted bleach water for a couple hours. Wash it off really good before you put it back in.
@@tiffanyholmes8155 does the bleachy water work for you? Is it just 50/50 bleach and water? I am using these beads for the first time and it's a pain making a new one over and over
My experience:
If you leave it in when eating, it'll get darker pretty quickly
You can whiten it with diluted bleach water for a couple hours.
@@tiffanyholmes8155 it will whiten back up with bleach water?
@@Y12354 yes just don't leave it too long maybe like 1,hr
@@Y12354 I've been using it for a tooth in the front that broke halfway and it works good nobody can tell it's fake and I bleach it with water and bleach it just depends on how dark it is if it's real dark leave it for two hours if it's not that dark about an hour
@@tiffanyholmes8155 I've been using it for about 2 years but just making a new one.. I didnt know I can re whiten it.. thank you so much
Losing a tooth is equivalent to a pet dying
Modfather 3 I Felt this😩
It’s so true lmao such a fucking pain
@@meganveronica5155 I never knew it was such a common thing with Americans
MEROIN yeah cuz dentists cost so much so I always had to go to the hospitals dental unit to have any tooth in pain extracted
@@meganveronica5155yeah, I was quoted 8000 for two implants so alternatives it is
Wouldn’t it save time and effort if you just boil the beads in tea the first time rather than doing the process twice
That’s an option also! Trying2help.com
