how loud is the module internal fan & air assist in comparison to other 36/40w machines ,

Thank you so much! The air assist is close to silent, but the module's internal fan may approach 70 dB, which is a bit noisy

Thank you for taking the time to reply, I currently use atomstack x30 on an apartment terrace between neighbours and they cannot hear Me working. They are lovely folk, so searching for the quietest 40w on the market.
I understand that more power, more heat equals more cooling. The search goes on

Enclosed laser engraver, like xTool S1, can reduce noise, due to the protective cover, it can eliminate part of the noise@@tonyfoster6852
