I got back into knives to ground myself in the past, as the present kinds sucks. Started with a fascination with the new moderns. Followed the big tubers for a bit. Then found some members of this community. Saw what I was really looking for. People grounded in good, traditional values and morals. People who actually care about and appreciate one another. Willing to lend a hand. Lus, the traditional knives are what I grew up with. So, I found old knives carried by good people. And, I found soooooo many of them. Very happy to have been welcomed into this community. Appreciate you, brother.
Wow you speak about my hole situation about the knife brotherhood it’s a bit of brightness in a dark world. I’m not worked in almost 13 years I tried to go back multiple times but I’m on medication for PTSD bipolar disorder and schizophrenia and depression and anxiety and panic attacks. I was diagnosed as a young boy at 12 was in medications until I was 20 and started self medicating for years until I got sober I started back on prescription medications instead of H for years I was making myself numb. But I’ll tell ya the medications help but I still have some dark days but my granddaughter and daughter what helps me get through the days. But 7:39 keep them dogs safe my emotional support dog is my life I’d do anything for her a little 14lbs. Chihuahua Coco she is my little angel. THANK YOU GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND YOUR PETS 😊😊😊😊😊

I have always watched CZcams and always wanted to get into but never really knew what i wanted to do. I love to cook and thats where the channel started. I uploaded 3 videos and quickly found out it was way more of a job than i realized. Thinking of a recipe going to get ingredients cooking the recipe all while trying to film it. Wears me out just talking about it. Then my good friend got me into knives. Case knives that is. He gifted me my 1st one and now here i am with over 120. Realized i had a passion for them and quickly changed my original CZcams channel into what you see today. And it has been nothing but a blessing with all the friendships and communication between everyone in this awesome brotherhood. Well i probably need to quit rambling. Thanks for providing the thought provoking open forum. I started interacting with a video much like this: one in which someone displayed a bit of personality and invited genuine interaction, not just algorithm commenting. I still comment for the algorithm somewhat but I also enjoy the interactions. Of course, it helps I like the knives too, but since it's such a small niche of CZcams, and life, really, it's fun to have people along for the ride. And yeah, yelling at dogs is part of life too. All good man!

I was originally looking for a knife and was fed up with the crap selection available at brick and mortar stores around here. It took me 'til about 2 years ago to realize that there were probably websites that had more, and sure enough, there were! 😂😂😂

I think i bought a ozark trail knife and looking for a review on it lead me to the knife doctor then all the other guys . I stayed because all the older guys in my life are gone and I miss that kind of a guy.
Then, after searching for a few reviews on some knives I ended up liking, there were a few people whose content/personality I enjoyed, such as Scab over on Choirboyz Outdoors, and subscribed to them. CZcams suggested a live from one of those channels (don't remember which) and here we are. The Knife Community is f'n amazing! As awesome as all the GAW's and #DSKFS-ing are, neither are why I stayed. People in this community genuinely care about each other. While everybody else is just chatting about whatever, there are always side conversations of people just checking up on each other. When you greet the chat, multiple people greet you back, even if you're new. If you're having a crappy day, and even just mention it in passing, someone will always throw an encouraging word your way, or a GAW win to cheer you up.
Yes I am in total agreement even a hello touches me that people actually take time to say hi and welcome you in. I will be here til I take my last breath probably just because I can't find this anywhere else. The amount of love and respect most have is enough to keep pushing.

I’ve loved Knives since my grandpa gave me my first knife when I was a kid! It was a Case Sodbuster! I have it to this day! Over the years I’ve fell further in love with knives and memories of that first Sodbuster when I was a kid!!! I love this video!!!! It hits home! I’m kind of a loaner and absolutely love this community brother!! It’s crazy how we become such close friends with folks we’ve never even shook hands with! We’re all here for one another!!!!
