I just do not get it…the newest and probably the best electronics from Gryphon…why with these speakers?
I like Gryphon products but this turntable seems pretty risky. Most analogue guys stay with real turntable manufacturers or dedicated turntable manufacturers. Who is going to spend 150k on a turntable not even built by Gryphon with an arm not built by them or a cartridge built by them? There are so many choices for much less than 150k that are serious turntables already. It's like buying a Porsche turntable.
@fatphoca5009 - I would see your point if Gryphon designed the turntable on thier own with no previous experience. However it WAS designed by Brinkman who’s an elite turntable engineer. If anything, one can argue that it’s Brinkman. Not a Gryphon
@@cirenosnor5768 I get your point but I would rather buy a TT from a TT manufacturer not one they OEM for someone else. Names have provenance and it matters imho.

I have owned a Gryphon S 100 a Gryphon DM 100, three Tabu 3/100 and a Gryphon Sonata, but in my opinion they are totally on a wrong track. This presentation shown in Munich was very dark, lacking air, speed and a good spatial representation - sorry for this money a total misrepresentation of music, coming out of the mind of some lovers of very heavy red wines.
