- No more axle wrap and wheel hop! I had wehrli custom fabrication traction bars welded onto my 2019 F250 with 6.7 diesel. Because of the 4" lift and added power, my truck had a bunch of axle wrap and wheel hop occasionally. I felt it through the shifts! Harsher shifts while giving it the juice...now no more. What welding instructions were provided with the kit? Specifically, did they provide pre-heat temperatures and durations so as not to induce heat-shock into the frame rail? I don't want my frame to start cracking.
Not sure brother, I am not inclined to weld so I had a shop do it. Still holding up very well
I was wondering I have an F350 that has that rear end "bounce" at 45mph exactly. Had the drive train and joints checked along with road force balancing. Been told that its frame harmonics, would this stop or help that. you can also put the truck into neutral at the speed point and if you keep it at 45 it will still bounce/hop in the rear.
Traction bars will most likely eliminate your problem because the rear axle will be welded and linked to the frame
for some reason I get a wheel hop at about 48 mph not there before or after. So between sat 45-50 the truck feels like it hops back there everything has been checked drive shaft, road force balanced tires u joints check etc. Would this help the long bed of a ford f350
Is it lifted or on larger tires?
@@MotorHead18 not at all. My initial thought was tires or rims but after they were road force balanced they zeroed out. Then I was thinking u joint they are tight, then I thought drive shaft and that checked out. All the reading I have done it's said this just what many f350 long beds are

Nope, not at all boss. It sticks well but isn’t any stiffer, if that makes sense
F250 is a leaf spring? But payload is not much more than Ram 2500, so strange.
Ram has coil and leaf options also a coil with a bag option

hey brother just recieved my F250 AND LOVE IT, CRAZY TORQUE. Wanted your opinion on a maintenance plan and platinum warranty offered by ford for 3K? is it worth a damm?
I didn’t go with a maintenance plan or extended warranty because of my plans for the truck, but 3k don’t sound too bad!

@@MotorHead18 spoke to the finance guy and dude said that ford will not want to do any warranty repairs if i don't have service records of each oil change. ive always done my own services and this just sounds like BS ,
