Humans have an indeniable talent and desire to turn any living creature into a dog.
Very clever 😂
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

@@zakanger8285 lol wat. It's reacting to being touched near the eyes - not an indicator of stress or anything.

Facts
Its a fuckin wild animal 😂
No. When you go behind a gators' eyes and touch them, they automatically close their eyes, same as with turtles or lizards and even frogs.
When she hung her mouth open while he was scratching her- that’s ACTUALLY a smile. When gators gape their mouth like that and close their eyes that’s a sign of contentment, you’ll often see them do it while they’re basking after a good meal

😂
Gator "Bites"
Other gators "AWWWWWWW"
The swamp puppy actually closed its eyes to enjoy the head scratches lol
When a gator closes their eyes it's a sign of trust she know not to bite the hand that feeds you
Flordian here! Gators aren't cats! Closing their eyes is not at all a sign of trust lol.
That guy is fortunate that he didn't get in the instinctive bite zone because he was quite close, nearly got himself bit.
Also unless this is in a preserve (given the boat I doubt it) it's extremely unsafe to feed wild gators because it can make them go up to people that don't have food, and begin to associate all people with food. That's what leads to the few attacks on people by gators.
When gators close their eyes, it's not at all because of trust.
They have 2 or 3 different eye lids, that help protect their eyes underwater and get sweat and water and such out of their eyes.
Never mistake a gator with its eyes closed as a gator that trusts you.
Gator will still bite you even if youve bonded with it and it knows you. Like if you were to splashes hand in the water next to her face he would get bit because that activates their bite response Jitters are cats or dogs don't try and don't treat them like one it will be a very fatal mistake
@@crystalxnightmarecrystal exactly. Even if they don't mean to bite at you, there's areas near them that will cause all sudden movements to trigger a bite.
@@impulse7942should comment this on the video too
@@impulse7942 general rule, if an animal closes it's eyes in your presence it trusts you, it's that simple, I'm a Floridian as well, I only *rarely* hear of stories of people making friends with these reptiles so I bet something was in it's eye, but the guess that the gator trusts the dude isn't a bad one especially if the gator closes it's eyes every time he pets her
Very cute but I thought we aren't suppose to feed alligators. 😊
You are not allowed to feed wildife
Its probably a sanctuary
Who gives a shit. We have bigger things to worry about rn in this country 😂.
Feeding alligators habituates them to associating humans as sources of food
And when a person enters their habitat WITHOUT food …
They become the food source
No that's bears
Not very often i would describe an alligator as cute but that was pretty cute
I don't think I've ever seen a gator show appreciation before. So cool
Well, don't want to disappoint you, but how come you see appropriation there?
(that's not a human, so I can't tell, if the gator is showing any emotional or anything)

the closed eyes is a massive sign of trust. she would never close her eyes like that if she felt threatened. kind of amazing
Not true. Reptiles close their eyes to "escape".
