Great demo. Thank you so much. I didn't have a manual because my kids gave theirs to me. So, I use your video as a manual. Again, excellent demonstration of the product!
Thank you! I'm currently dog sitting for a dog that had diarrhea all over their owner's carpet while I was at work and they have one of these cleaners that I need to use. Had no clue how to use it!!! You explained it so well. I'll sleep better tonight knowing I used this thing on the spots.
This video convinced me to purchase the Spot Bot *Pet* 'I went to watch reviewels, and now I'm convinced. 😁 You have quite a sturdy hand there. I almost thought you were using a Go-Pro or something on your head. So, yes, great hand and eye control! 😊
this tool has changed my life! I have 2 Chihuahuas and we can have pee pee accidents! No problem now! Just sucks it right up! I use the wand and its perfect! Btw, I got mine at the Goodwill for 20.00$ what a still! Thx Bissell I love all your cleaning items!
Thanks for doing this. I bought a different style a couple years ago. It looks just like a hand vac. Takes a lot of work not auto. Thanks again. Great job. 👍
I bought one today from the Goodwill Outlet Store in North Canton, Ohio, it's only a year old as it was manufactured on 3/21/22. When i found it, it was leaking some water from the brush & it's hose is dirty. Also in addition, I bought an orange & brown Eureka Mighty Mite & Dirt Devil Spot Scrubber
Hi, I'm not sure what you mean. When I dump the dirty tank I pour it out the top. There is an opening at the bottom but water doesn't flow out until it is almost full (to the top of the internal tube). I do get some leakage after emptying the tank and putting it away. I ruined a cabinet shelf as water would seep out when stored. Now I store it in the laundry sink for at least a day in case it does seep, then put it away. I also store the clean tank upside down as it too will lead if left installed.
Hi Casca. See the very beginning at about 45 second. I lift out the bottle that is filled with water. There is a cap on the bottom side of the bottle where you put the water and soap in. Once the cap is tightened, the bottle is turned over and set into place and the cap is where the water is pumped from. I should have shown that better. Thank you for the comment.
@@GMoney-B No. it’s about $17 on Amazon. Search Bissell Hose & Handle, Model: 33N8 & 78R5, 2037478. Make sure your model number is listed as this will not work on older versions.
Hi. If you are referring to the hand held brush that attaches to the end of the hose you can get one at bissell.com or amazon.com at this address: www.amazon.com/Bissell-Tough-Stain-8920-8930/dp/B0047L5K9O/ref=pd_bxgy_img_2/137-9623068-9644255?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0047L5K9O&pd_rd_r=161cacb3-97f0-435e-bc0a-9a0abb9cea9e&pd_rd_w=PY1T0&pd_rd_wg=t9mOf&pf_rd_p=4e3f7fc3-00c8-46a6-a4db-8457e6319578&pf_rd_r=E8NGV5G8CPE0ZBET77E5&psc=1&refRID=E8NGV5G8CPE0ZBET77E5
I had a problem, when we started vacuuming with the hose it started to spray water out of the brush compartment and it’s soaked our carpet. I was wondering if there a way to prevent this from happening
Make sure the trigger for the sprayer isn't being depressed or stuck. The sprayer is for spot cleaning and can let loose a lot of liquid. If it is permanently stuck open I would see about getting a replacement. Also note that if the dirty tank isn't positioned correctly and closed it won't vacuum. I flooded an area that way as well. Hope you find the fix.
Push either Surface Stain or Set-In Stain and the brush will work in tandem with a sprayer. The difference between the two is the duration of operation with Set-In taking twice as long (about 6 minutes versus 3). When it is done, you do have to push Stop or you will not be able to start it again unless unplugged first.
how disappointing was thinking it was a carpet shampooer that moved around on its own in a random pattern like that automatic round robotic vacuum? Guess I'll stick with my heavy rug doctor that I bought off Amazon about 5 yrs. ago was kinda pricy though, was about $800.00 but it's got all the attachments to do upholstery & curtains, etc.
You can go to walmart by a carpet cleaner spray for 3 bucks and use a hard brush from dolla tree for $ 1 it would look way better , i know it from my experience
@@DollarDIY did it on a 25 year old car's carpet. The floorboard may have had dirt underneath the carpet and water just made it worse. Just a guess though. I'm disappointed for sure.

Wow! I was really amazid. My friend had one. Wanted to sale it . Hell no it's mine! Works great on even old spots.
This was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you 👌

If it still works that's great!
Thank you so much for this video. It is really useful in using the device.
thank you so much sir for the helpful review.
Great job.
I just keep with wet and dry vacuum.
I'm so glad that you said there is a pattern in your carpet. Lol
Yeah. Otherwise it would have been pretty bad. Thanks.
I have one. It works great.
Do you have any issues when dumping the dirty tank with dirty water spilled out of the bottom at well as the top?

It's been roughly 3.5 years now, would you recommend buying this Bissell Spotbot?
Yes! Unfortunately I still use it for my cat 😩. It still works good. I did have to replace the hose once but otherwise it works very well.
@@DollarDIY Thank you for the feedback!!! Wishing you a great weekend.
@@DollarDIY how much was a hose replacement? I hear they are hard to get in that you have to send it in or but a new one, is this true?

how do you add water and cleaner?
The two domes on top are for clean and dirty fluids. They are removable so it can be filled or emptied.
I've lot my attachment for this machine to use it manually. Anyone know where I can get that from?

Can you use the hose to clean the spot as well? Does it dispense the cleaner or does it just vacuum it up? Thanks!
Hi. Yes, there is a sprayer nozzle at the end of the hose so you can clean smaller spots or pre-clean.
How long is the cord?
Approximately 10 feet.
How do you get the brush to work

I use odoban carpet 3-1 carpet cleaner much cheaper and dose a better job for pets
Thanks. I'll look into that.
Can I use the spot dot to clean my sofa
There is an vacuum with a sprayer arrangement that can be used for sofas and furniture.

Yes. There is a hose attachment. I have used it on my furniture.

Can you just use the hose as a steam cleaner?
No. The hose has a sprayer for spot cleaning but other than that it only vacuums.

but this unit can clean carpet stains by itself freeing up precious time
Can I use this for my car? For the fabric seats and carpet?
Yes but probably overkill. The hose attachment would work fine but you would be limited on the use of the brush.
