Amazing how people want to be free to live their lives but refuse to let others live theirs.
Most of the flooding in South Florida could be controlled if the city workers would quit parking under shaded trees for hours at a time. I've watched these city workers get paid for doing absolutely nothing for hrs at a time, shocking ! I've seen street drainage just covered with trash, branches, coconut, bottles, you name it I've seen it. The cities drainage needs snaked out and unblocked period. I'm sure that debris I see on top of the drainage is also inside the drainage. I have not once seen any city workers cleaning out drainage before the rainy season starts. It isn't the rain that's flooding out city blocks it's the clogged filthy drainage pipes. Don't blame mother nature she's just doing what's natural, blame your city workers folks. Common Sense would say okay rainy season is about to start check all drainages and make sure there is no blockage. It's called working guys.. helloooo !!!!
Use sandbags around your house then pump the water out
Why don't you go buy them a bunch of sandbags and pumps then!
Don't need to go to the beach now, just walk out of your house.
