      I had tried other methods first but had far too many gaps between pieces. This seems to help immensely. Thanks for your support!

      There are always many ways to do things. I’ve graduated from this to a multiple large block that makes many different bands. Update to come. Your creativity and imagination are the only limits!

      Thanks! I knew there had to be a simpler way. Usually I find the most difficult way of doing something. Aiming for simple and elegant with great results. More to come!

      Mercí! I hope you find a few gems of inspiration to try making a few pieces of your own. I have a few other videos that come close to beginning marquetry. Some in the works of being produced. Enjoy, and welcome!

    Can the same precision be achieved with a table saw and a few jigs? I don’t have the space or the cash for even a crappy band saw lol, never mind a good one.

    • @SkyValleyStudio
      @SkyValleyStudio  Před rokem +1

      With a good blade and a good hand plane you could probably do it on a table saw.

    I thought Diamond shape would be 60 degree ?

    • @SkyValleyStudio
      @SkyValleyStudio  Před 3 lety

      The degree depends on the shape of the Diamond. You can have square diamonds or you could have very narrow and pointy diamonds. Or am I misunderstanding your comment?
