Exploring the World of Plants and Fungi
I live in Brazil, more specifically in the state of Mato Grosso, a region where both of these plants grow. There are a bunch of indigenous reserves in here, and you can easily get to a tribe and participate in the ritual. The shaman administers the whole experience, and you're usually given two bowls of ayahuasca. Along with that, there's native music being played, people dancing and it's a very immersive experience as a whole. Natives say you shouldn't use it as a drug, but as some sort of medium through which you access the spiritual world. A common event in those trips is meeting your 'spiritual animal'.
Would you and have you done it?
@@axelstone3131 I haven't done it yet, but I pretend to do so soon. Most of my close friends have done it, though, and a few of them more than once. Their experiences range from actually meeting their spiritual animal (one of my friends found out his was a snake, or The Snake, if you will) to seeing their parents being burned alive or shot to death. From what they tell me, it seems really intense. I have done other psychedelics like LSD, shrooms and more synthetic ones (NBome and its numerous variations), and I've went to 'places', if you can call them that, but those experiences where either very surreal or very physical, nothing as intense as what they tell me from their experiences.
I'm not a religious person, but from what the shamans (or cacique, as we say) says, you need to be 'at peace' with yourself, the world, nature and etc, so it doesn't turn into what we would call a bad trip.
I am not Brazilian but Colombian, I had heard of the plant before, but for my Portuguese class I had to do research for a presentation on the ritual, it was really interesting.
unfortunately it's not common in Minas, we don't even have a huge indigenous population
@@Louis-kw6yk the indigenous population here in MT is also dwelling. They're either getting exterminated by landowners and logging/mining companies or getting assimilated into our urban brazilian culture. In this (and some other) sense we are very similar to the US and Canada: our native population has been almost completely exterminated, with the exception of the tribes living in the densest jungles of the amazon region, where even portuguese colonizers couldn't get. Sadly, that is also starting to change...
Psychedelics and psilocybin containing mushroom in general are just amazing with so many health benefits. Psilocybin mushrooms treatment saved me from insomnia and severe depression. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
they saved you from death bud, lets be honest here. and mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on this planet i wish people would all realize. they could solve a lot of problems, more than just mental treatments, environmental clean up; the possibilities are endless with fungus.
Can you help with the reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. Very hard to get a reliable source here in Scotland. Really need!
YES very sure of Dr.medshrooms. I have the same experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD and addiction and Mushrooms definitely made a huge huge difference to why am clean today.
I hate that psilocybin gets grouped with drugs like cocaine and heroin. Mushrooms are a remedy, not a vice! I went on a microdose treatment for a couple of months and within the first week, every sight of a cigarette got me questioning why I was doing all that to myself. It really works.
How do I reach out to him? Is he on insta
My partner took a portrait of Tasha over 10 years ago for a photo project he was working on in university, so we were so surprised to see Tasha appear on this channel after we subscribed thinking it was just an animal channel! What a fun opportunity to be a host!
Wow, super cool! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this, Tasha. You're doing a super job as host. I'm loving the ethnobotany twist to the animalogic channel. Humans are animals and our relationship with plants is as fascinating as it is with any other critter
For anyone here because theyre considering ayayuasca.... 10 out of 10 life changing experience!!! Not for the weak or faint of heart though
Had mine sometime last month
Was the best experience for me...thanks to
Dennis_allen_01
..he held my hands throughout my Ayahuasca experience..I would recommend him💯👌
He is on IG👌👌
I love watching the outtakes just as much as the content itself. Tasha makes me smile and laugh. 😂
Congradulations on your Telly Awards wins. I've never heard of Ayahuasca before. This was very interesting, learning about the history of this.
Ayahuasca & Mushrooms have done wonders for my PTSD. There was a time in my life I couldn't sleep in the same room as other people both from Anxiety and from if I did fall asleep and someone woke me up, I'd usually wake up yelling and swinging my fists. After my first Ayahuasca trip, it already helped, I go for guided session once a year and it just helps me get out of my own head.
Need to let out the inner madness 🤪 innate to humanity, or it will break out of its container from the pressure build up.
I have PTSD also, LSD has helped but is harder to come by. Been wanting to try shrooms again (first time was mostly a body trip I didn't enjoy). Thanks for sharing, stories like yours are encouraging.
Hello, I’m considering attending a ceremony. Are you able to remember what happened when it wears off?
Where do you go to do it?
Do you do this in the States?
Psychedelics and their history are very interesting. Great video!
always been scared of having a bad trip, but at the same time i always tell myself i'll be damned if i die before exploring the wonders of this world. i hope one day i'll be healed enough to try this for myself.
I'll recommend you to this mycologist that guided me through my first experience, has all sorts of psychedelic products and also ships discreetly
Out of all the combinations of plants you need to make ayahuasca it's amazing that the ancient people understand that you need only 2 plants from the Amazon to make ayahuasca.
Leonmycology.

It's simple: 1. aya+psychotria isn't the only active combo...2. aya without psychotria is already active in higher doses....they wer elikely using mushrooms alone first and in trying to combine with other plants they stumbled upon aya....then considering they couldnt grow mushrooms, they replaced it with psychotria later....just my hypothesis
Because these compounds affect serotonin reuptake, do *not* consume these medications if you're being treated for depression or seizure disorders without first speaking with a psychiatrist trained in these compounds. I suspect this could cause seizures and altered mood (extreme anger, fear) symptoms.
The outtakes make me smile every time, and the videos are always great!
I love how you integrate psychotropic plants in the show! Thnx knowledge is everything
I was wondering why you took so long to mention DMT and Psychedelic experiences.
Ayahuasca is one of the most well known psychedelics, and its DMT experience can be fairly unique.
You said psychotropic and was wondering why you weren't mentioning psychedelic.
I am a psychonaut myself and have experienced first hand the power of psychedelics for healing. I had a trip that helped me get over some heavy grief over the loss of a friend that I wasnt ready to loose. Their death hit me very hard and I struggled with it for a long time, but a Psychedelic trip made me face those feelings and emotions head on, and think about them and process them. I felt them for hours and when I woke up, I felt I had moved onto be able to finally accept her death, and remember the wonderful happy times and years we spent together.
Psychedelics can have real power to help people.
That's why they are illegal, imagine a dirt cheap grow anywhere plant giving such results.
I love these kind of videos. Keep them coming.
This channel gives me such wonderful feminine wisdom vibes. I feel like there's an old spirit at work here, an ancient wisdom that can't be found by the public in a museum, library, or zoo. Thank you for this wonderful blend of natural knowledge!! I look forward to each Friday's upload to start my weekend.
Girl what the hell you talking about
Thank you for the information! Great job explaining!
pleasantly surprised that you took on this one, considering it is a synergy of 2 plants types.
would like to know more about other teacher plants.
San Pedro?
I didn’t know any of this about this. I especially didn’t know how to spell it. I’m particularly happy with the bloopers. Love Tasha the Amazon!!!
Thank you so much and what a lovely host!
Tasha doesn't seem to need any of these psychedelic plants to be the life of the party 😂💜 I love these bloopers
Awesome video and very informative. Thanks for sharing!❤🥰👍
The psychedelic experience is temporary but many people have permanent results
Psilocybin being illegal is a crime against humanity!
I had 3.5 grams dried lemon tek most beautiful experience ever!!
@@fred55558: I’d never heard of Lemon Tek, so I looked it up. It’s been _at least_ a decade since I’ve done any psychedelics, and since then I’ve moved to a small town where I don’t even know who to ask or how to go about finding out. I did mushrooms in Thailand back in the ‘80s, and acid in San Francisco around that same time-the guy I got it from said he’d done acid in the’60s and that what he had to sell me was lightweight disco acid, but it was all he could find anymore.
@@fred55558: I’m envious!

It came in to this newest edition to this channel's collection of psychiatric plant videos chanting, ready for the tye-dye shirt. I never expected a new one!
Enjoyed your video and I gave it a Thumbs Up
the last bit at the end is perfect x))
OMG I loved her bloopers so much! What a fun girl! Reminds me of my goofy self
Endogenous psychedelics such as this have so many Interesting implications on human biochemistry
Really interesting!! I love hearing about indigenous beliefs of plants x0x
I enjoyed the video, thanks for the information. I agree having to run to the bathroom is not a good selling .
Amazing outtakes! 😂
😂😂😂 great stuff, loved the end.

Congratulations on the awards
I've never met anyone who used it as a popular trip. It's too powerful for that.
I can't find a source anywhere for any good psychedelics in my area. I suffer some pretty bad depression and i got a chance to try K and man it was a miracle substance, I felt free, the only high or euphoria was from the relief of my vices being released, that's exactly what it did
I literally watch it for Tasha’s blooper reel ❤
iz6566 (hob knob) its called " soul search ", " finding your animal self" and things like that, am I clear?.
[I wet my pants laughing 😅😅😅 can't wait for her next vid!]
Yay! I asked for this 2 years ago, & you actually got back to my comment when you released this. Thanks! You should do the coca plant next!! Or other sacred plant medicines!
@Harop Wade good luck!
please do some episodes on some herbal culinary plants like basil, sage, thyme, mint, lemon balm etc.
I love the shirt that you’re wearing in this video
Haha i'm glad i watched to the end. That was great 👍
Missionaries who encountered it in the 1700s said "This shit is gas kid"
Congratulations on your award winning.
Love from Kerala.
Thank you
You should talk about kava kava next! I've successfully used it to get off alcohol this year.
Can you guys do a video on durian fruit?
Cool song at the end ;)
Thanks!
Thank you!
Please talk about phantom orchids next!
Can you do a video on the Dragon Blood Tree, Tasha? There are a few documentaries on CZcams but nothing compares to Animalogic's videos ❤
I have a suggestion for a future video! I would love to see one about plantains, or plantains.
Lsd will always be my favorite but I like them all.. I found most bad trips are getting away from certain people of changing up the environment or changing up the music
lsd is man made, take Gods plantation instead is more natural.
Ayahuasca is life changing for sure! go into it with a positive mindset and free of expectations. It's a very healing and spiritual experience 💚🐍🍵
I'll refer you to where you can get your psychedelics

I was a part of a ritual while working/living in Colombia. Honestly, I did find it quite helpful, but it certainly was not a pleasant experience. The shaman suggested a once a week treatment but I could only go the one time. If someone is planning to do this, please be aware of the dangers involved. Many people have been poisoned and there is always a great risk of kidnapping in a place like Colombia. Especially if you are not well traveled and don’t speak the language. Be safe, do lots of research, and don’t go alone.
Berry nice video. 👍

Have you done a video on morning glories? I originally looked them up to see if I can grow them and found out they can be used as psychedelic.
LSD I feel is often preferable to LSA (morning glories) but it can still be quite an interesting experience as long as you're able to avoid the body load with a proper extraction.
Aya saved my life, sanity and soul many times over. Grateful forever 💚🙏

Can you make a video about cacao?
I did Ayahuasca this weekend, amazing experiencia, with my soul❤️
He is on Instagram 👌
Should cover Acacia confusa, which is great for making pure dmt.
Whenever I did psychedelics in the past I always had to sit down and go to the bathroom.
Serotonin ,wow secound time this week I come across this chemical , first in music now Tasha.
Ren X Chinchilla - Chalk Outlines (live)
Awesome
Do an episode on morning glory!
Also you should do one of the alignment chart videos with trees.
It doesn't traslate to "wine of the soul" ... it means "rope to the death" or "rope to the soul"...
"Huasca" it's a word still used nowadays as something that has the uses of a rope like a leash or even a leash.
Can you please please please make a video about the first land plants and how mosses and ferns took over the planet and how it gave birth to the opportunity for gymnosperms to rise and eventually angiosperms? Can you also show a bit of the molecular mechanisms of gametophyte and sporophytes etc ??🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Or just the tree fern or parasol moss, I feel like too little people realize how beautiful these plants are
Cool!
Did a research about this for my Portuguese class
would you recommend it?

Want to try it...........terrified to try it. I have issues and come from a long line of "schizophrenics". LSD and mushrooms were not good experiences for me 20 years ago and the one decent experience was nothing transformative. It was just a relief that it didn't fuck me up like the other times did. 1 in 7 is not good odds and the "1" I have dreams that are more intense than that. (I had to keep my eyes closed throughout the entire good experience. Weirdly with eyes open I never had the visuals everyone always talks about. I just felt like I was going insane and went down a 6-8 hour panic attack followed by months of anxiety.
All of my friends at the time had good experiences though.

In such cases, it is not advisable. I would not risk it. That said, my experience with it has been more calm and seems to embolden the soul. I don’t know…it might be too much of a risk in my unprofessional opinion. Most people though seem to take to it rather well, but there is no such thing as getting half wet, so to speak.
Where can I get this tea
Watching this makes me wonder if we’re ever going to be able grow the plants ourselves just like we can do now with mushrooms and weed. As long a it’s done with respect to the culture I think that’d be pretty awesome for the world.
I suddenly realize.
I think this is the first time I've ever seen that word written down.

Hi there I’m from Australia and am interested in the potential healing properties for mental health (anxiety depression ptsd) and also addiction (probably the addiction more than anything) could you please tell me if this is something to explore or is it in too early stages for treatment of the above I mentioned? I’m not interested in a psychedelic trip for fun or anything but I would persevere it and the side effects if it has the potential to save my life. Thank you
A mild dose can be very therapeutic and I can recommend it however I also had a strong dose and it was the most terrible experience of my life, I’m still battling with the things I saw that night, don’t let that scare you but just proceed with caution, LSD is nothing compared to this
Is something you can explore. It never goes wrong
I found this website which sells a bottle of Ayahuasca, 30 x 400 mg capsule for $40.
Each capsule contains 400 MG of banisterlopsis caapi Ayahuasca vine.
The euphoric calming effect is something I would like to experience.
Do I really need to go to a retreat or be accompanied by an expert while trying this? What would 1 capsule do?
The Amazon needs to be saved. There is much medicine there, not counting many people and animals 😢
You are a funny woman, great tot listen to, looking at, and you have very interesting insight in plantlife. It makes you crazy attrective. Nope I did not took ayahuasca. 😆😊
I've played around with psychedelics a fair bit in my younger years and it was interesting but... I dunno, simultaneous vomiting and diarrhea doesn't sound too enticing.
Psychedelics has being of high relevance to the human society, mushroom help healed me from depression and anxiety. Can get em here👇
