The Moon Live Video on my Phone Through My 8" Telescope

I aimed my 8" telescope at the Moon and shot some video through it with my Pixel 4 smartphone.
Ever wonder what you can see of the moon through a backyard telescope? Have a look through mine! You can take awesome pictures of the moon through a telescope with just your phone.
Moon astrophotography with a smartphone is a great way for beginners to start off on an exciting journey in the hobby.
This was shot in Chicago under not-so-clear skies. The amount of detail you can see on the Moon is incredible, no matter if you are in dark skies or city skies.
