- I aimed my 8" telescope at the Moon and shot some video through it with my Pixel 4 smartphone.
Ever wonder what you can see of the moon through a backyard telescope? Have a look through mine! You can take awesome pictures of the moon through a telescope with just your phone.
Moon astrophotography with a smartphone is a great way for beginners to start off on an exciting journey in the hobby.
This was shot in Chicago under not-so-clear skies. The amount of detail you can see on the Moon is incredible, no matter if you are in dark skies or city skies.
This video has no talking or explanation, but I'm happy to answer any questions you have about how you can see these views yourself!
