It really depends on type of work. Many times it will be not helpful but again it depends on your projects you worked on.

CPI is good, but CPI + ABAP will help to get higher packages. PI/PO is almost obsolete. If not interested in ABAP, try to work on other interface tools like DELL Boomi / Muelsoft.
