Loved hearing this music. I've followed both your group and Legacy Five for years so it was great to hear Scott again. I'm 70 now and 61 years ago I gave my life to the LORD. The LORD built my faith with church music right from the beginning. My dad was the song leader and my Mom had me in a basket beside the organ. My paternal grandfather was a pastor and I remember him holding me in his lap while reading Egemeier's Bible Storybook to me when I was two years old. We moved when I was five but my parents still participated as the music leaders in the towns we lived in. I grew up to earn a BA in vocal performance and I have continued being part of church music wherever I have attended church. What a blessing it is to help people praise the LORD through songs He has inspired composers and poets to write!
Well Ernie and guys, two weeks in a row, you've made me cry!! Love every song each one such a blessing! When your "Pop" was telling the story and they showed the pic of you it really got to me. My husband and I have been married just shy of 39 years and had begun to think we would never be grandparents, But God.... About 3 years ago our youngest son (in his early 30's) met and fell in love with a girl that had a 10 year old little girl, then 2 years ago, they blessed us with the most precious, beautiful blonde haired baby girl and almost 3 weeks ago blessed us with our only grandson. Boy has He made a change in our lives. My husband was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer back in 2015 and he responded well to the treatment but it returned about a year and a half ago, we along with "our girls" have found a new church home and I'm longing for the day that our "little man" can go with us as well. Jesus has made some big changes in our lives!! Thank you guys for what you are doing!, please keep it up! Wow! Wow! Wow! I just LOVED this episode! I was just a baby when the Cathedrals retired so I never got to see them. But when I was a teen, and really got into this music I was raised on, the Cathedrals were my absolute favorite! Then that lead me to find Signature Sound and Legacy Five! My favorites! So this episode was very special to me for that reason! Plus I also enjoyed the “change” theme. So thankful for the change Jesus brings!!
