This was a beautiful integration of the spiritual and scientific thought of reincarnation. Eloquent and powerful in its simplicity. Thank You Dr. Chopra for being you and all that you do to enlighten us.

I 'm exited to listen to the second part of your' exposé ', because this is the intro ... I like the way you prepare the mind to other points of views without imposing your revelations onto others. THAT'S evolution .thank you deepak for your interesting videos and food for thought.

What is a child tapping into when accessing memory, which may be interpreted as reincarnation?☺️👋 A good question.
    Some notes from this teaching~
    Focusing on verbs, motion,fluidity.
A combination of circles, and spiral movements through time, where the greater aspects of awareness are housed outside of the body.
Which species travel together in a particular time is also always in flux. This eases my emotional grieving and anger about extinction events, or on the smaller scale raising our own food (plants included). Realizing that death and life are always dancing. Deja vu moments.
Deepak talks about learning to not cling or grasp, which can be challenging when the heart tugs and wants to just put a bookmark in the nonlocal memory of a shared pleasant experience.
Thank goodness for entities though, who remain in good consciousness 💜 and conversation.

Ever present change as the fundamental essence of the universe.
Your explanation is the most believable and the most reasonable one Dr. Chopra.

Well, Deepak, the title/subject alone got me. I feel there is a link between those 2, reincarnation and evolution. Also feel I have that view because of experience actually but it sure makes sense and "fits" imo.
    Loved and thank you muches🙏

If consciousness is the fundamental reality, then the evolution of species is reincarnation.

I am not sure it is necessarily a misunderstanding to consider that 'Deepak' is not the entity that can reincarnate.
If 'Deepak' is a process, and I think this is a very useful description, upon death, that process that 'Deepak' was would move to the next stage of its process. If I called you 'Deepak' in your teenage years, I would still you call you 'Deepak' in your adult years. Whilst you are no longer teenage 'Deepak', you are still the process that I recognise as 'Deepak'. At the next stage, after death, I am not sure you cease to be 'Deepak' that once was an adult man, a teenager, etc, but is 'Deepak' the continuing process. It all depends on what you fix 'Deepak's' identity as being.
If you fix 'Deepak' as a teenager, then 'Deepak' the adult man is not 'Deepak' the teenager. But if I consider that 'Deepak' is the process that can evolve from a baby to a teenager to an adult, it is not difficult to consider that 'Deepak' can evolve into yet another form post death, and that into a new human life. Evolution, from a scientific perspective, is biological and, thus, physical. Evolution of 'Deepak', the process, is perhaps not too dissimilar, except that it is not limited to the physical. I say this looking at a weed having grown from under a flower pot from a tiny spot of dirt. That life seeks expansion, and thus evolution, just like everything else I suppose.
That view would accord with the views of some so-called 'mystics'. One has said that 'he' would be around 80 years after his passing to continue to help his disciples, or that he could recognise from those around him those he would have met in his previous human incarnation. That view would also accord with the data from cases of kids allegedly remembering past lives or near death experiences.
I do not think we could discard that view as a misunderstanding.
It is of course a more difficult question then to define the contours of that process we called 'Deepak' - who 'Deepak' really is.
Many who have experienced the passing of someone close to them may very well have experienced that what they would have called 'Deepak', 'John' or whatever or whomsoever they knew, does not end there. Some of these experiences can be so remarkable, and oftentimes spontaneous and impossible to explain, so as to fundamentally change one's conception of existence.
This happened to me. As a former staunch materialist, such experiences (including the spontaneous vision of a past life) in the lead up to, and post, the passing of my wife, including the experiences of my wife and our young children, led me to a completely new conception of existence. And it was not through reasoning, or adopting a new set of beliefs, I simply one day spontaneously started functioning on the basis of that new conception of existence.

as a formative notion, i would be lead to believe the provisional self is equitable to the existence of a physical, human, body. it has temporal limits. the Universal, Self. or Being, belongs to the timeless, rhythms', patterns of the cosmos. when the Universal Self/Being, shapes its psychological and physical expressions in the world in a type of a coordinated fashion, the "expanses of the domain of the divine", begin to be revealed, which, can promote the development of culture. if some one has :""fully" participated in such an experience, the Universe seems to see fit to allow for that phenomena "to continue". the cosmic equivalent of "natural selection"? there is enough "substance" to this phenomena to be in unison or have the continuity of experience, which is in accordance with cosmic law/expression. if ones experience is primarily limited to the corporal/temporal aspect of existence, then one might have "fleeting glimpses" of the Universal. the real significance of capacity, or abilities of the Universal Self are only evident, then, when one knows the experience of the Universal as the only law(s) governing existence, and underpin the existence of the Provisional. or, as i understand, the Hindu might suggest, this is in the realm of the achievement of Liberation", or transcending the earthly bonds or corporal/temporal existence, freeing ones self from the cycle of death and re-birth. as for evolution, it would seem this notion is more dependent on the amount of development of the Universal, and less on existing solely on the corporal/temporal, Provisional, aspect(s) of existence. as a side note, it does seem, once these domains of the Divine are "realized:

I have heard that the sage Ramana Maharshi supposedly have stated that "anything except the so called dreamless deep sleep state is unreal". It feels more free to use the word "process", instead of some fixed "I"-identity with its specific position in spacetime. But what about the mysterious dreamless deep sleep state? Can it also be a process in it self?

My idea in regards to reincarnation is that there is only one soul and we attach to it and death is a temporary detachment and then our reattachment is the reincarnation. Our memories rot down with our brains. There is no reincarnation of memory.

    • @LianaMarvel

Everything is in consciousness, memories are there also .
That could explain why some people are born with extraordinary gifts like knowing how to play a musical instrument at a very young age without being formally taught.
Abilities and memories from one lifetime can pass on to another.

Can you explain why we see some specific number continuously. I'm always suddenly seeing 111 or 1111 everyday. Is it a sign of some kind, or relation with universe?
Reincarnation is also type of replicating long term memories or manifestation of some unfinished business or some strong emotion or may be entanglement of energy. Some unknown phenomenon we don't understand exactly but we are living it from million of years. We forget some memories and we replicate some long term strong memories in the form of reincarnation. Physical memories are also type of reincarnation happening from starting of evolution. Now mental memories are also reincarnating. I think its latest type of evolution which will lead to new species of humans. May be will generate new types of sense we don't know about yet and its related to reincarnation. May be in future everyone will remember their past lives and we will remember everything we learned in every lifetime. Evolution will be faster.

Not sure I get the part about recycling of species. To my mind, that seems a lot like recycling personalities. Any particular species (it seems to me) is the current state or point of a process of biological evolution, just as my personality is the current state of my explorations and expression of Self as my ego-self.

  • @usr909
    @usr909 Před měsícem +1

Biological evolution and reincarnation are not identical for the simple reason that biological evolution is governed by sets of physical laws, and reincarnation is governed by an intelligent mind beyond those mechanical laws. Because the content of consciousness is unique for each life form, this life form itself is unique too. This uniqueness doesn't repeat over a length of time and vanishes when the form dies. So, only an intervention of the mind can reorganize this informational uniqueness and make it reincarnate.
If such a mind doesn't intervene, then no reincarnation will occur naturally. The information and memories for the mentioned matrix, don't have stability and permanence, so to provide some stable continuation of individual conscious agents. In other words, nature doesn't recognize permanent individual conscious reference points. Only the mind can enforce them on the matrix.
The physical laws develop and recycle the physical form, but the mind can organize itself in a much more flexible way. This way will allow much more freedom compared to physical laws. Those laws are about stability. The mind is about flexibility.
Both don't go into conflict because are different dimensions of existence and expression. Evolution happens automatonically and has limits for each planet and plane of existence. The mind can perform quantum jumps in-between planets, planes and reference points in a variety of ways. This is real reincarnation, but not some that is already arranged for the creature by nature. Nothing is given or set up for the creature's future existence. To assume that reincarnation or rebirth somehow happens by default is a fatal mistake because it makes you inactive and certain of your future existence, which is self-destructive self-delusion.
So, evolution is a cybernetic mechanism limited within planets and a plane of existence. It is certainly a form of intelligence and a form of mind too but it doesn't have a will or self-control. It's like a complex clock-gear. However, the reincarnating mind is not a cybernetic mind because it is flexible in terms of free will and self-control. It operates over multiple planets, planes of existence and dimensions. That's why evolution and reincarnation are not identical.

All philosophy of life hidden in this equation.
The whole universe is the self modification of Almighty consciousness which is E = M
c2 one c represents higher consciousness & other c lower consciousness.
Almighty consciousness training it's unconscious part by revolving or incarnation process & through this process placing each & every entity to its right place.
The whole process is a filtration process & this is a journey from unconscious to higher consciousness.
Not a journey of have or haven't.

I recall hearing through the grapevine in my faith community, that Deepak is personally acquainted with a poet who is a follower of Meher Baba. Meher Baba explained this topic in depth in his book, "God Speaks." Surely Dr. Chopra is familiar with it. So in my opinion, he shouldn't be acting as though this is his own formulation, he should be citing sources.
