Him casually just sparring with Strickland. What a legend.
Facts!
Anyone got a link to the full spar session? He said they taped it in his interview with Sean before his last fight
@@gimpyrules6714 I just saw a video where Crosby was saying they did 3 3minute rounds and his nose was all messed up at the end of it.
Anyone who doesn’t understand what its like to be an addict will never understand that every second of everyday you’re constantly battling your own brain. Keep telling this story! We need more success stories instead of the constant negative news.
@@JUNKHEAD224stay strong brotha .. just remember you don’t need it it’s mental . You got this 💪🏽🙏🏻
Stay strong @JUNKHEAD224 you gone be over yo over come it bruh it righteous Judy a mindset thing keep telling your self that
True
This is amazing. Been drinking my pain away for 16yrs now and everyday I tell myself I won’t the next day but there I go again and again. Struggle is real.
You are correct. People who aren’t addicted do not understand it’s in your mind constantly. It is hard. Sad but true for us who have this trouble/ disease . Glad to always hear when someone can over come it one day at a time.
That’s UCF middleweight champ Sean Strickland right there. I wanna see more of his spar with Crosby.
Im sure Sean is going through the motions. Crosbys technique is very very raw.
@@2011hwalker seans obviously going light. great link up though, thats badass
@@Kegman24sean never goes light, crosby said he left him bloodied
@@rollin60z yeah at first lol
Just recently passed six months of being sober from alcohol myself, so this story hit home with me. Praying for your continued sobriety, Maxx!
Stay a warrior.
💪 congratulations
@@davetribear Thank you! Much appreciated!
@@frankd.506 Thank you! I really appreciate that!
@@zacsdiyguns Incredible! Praying for you as well!
Just hit a year sober, for those working to get clean. Keep fighting, you are the only obstacle to your success. This man is a beast.
Mad respect to this guy and Darren Waller from a Chargers fan
Respect to you. I remember when the chargers media team for scheduled dates used an ash tray meme of Maxx Crosby for the raiders game date. 🤦🏻♂️
He spars with Sean Strickland? That’s crazy
Glad I’m not the only one blown away hahaha
tryna find a comment to see if anyone else noticed too😂
not a word about it either!
They didn’t even mention it. It’s not like he’s the middle weight CHAMP or anything 🤔
Not a raiders fan but I’m now deffitly a MAXX CROSBY FAN GODBLESS THIS DUDE 1 DAY AT A TIME IS A MIRACLE. IM COMING UP ON 1 YEAR GODWILLING AND THIS HELPED ME OUT . GODBLESS ALL THE SICK AND SUFFERERING ADDICTS OUT IN THE STREET, DONT JUDGE WHEN YOU SEE THAT HOMELESS ADDICT WITH S SIGN ON THE CORNER, THATS SOMEBODYS MOTHER, FATHER, BROTHER, SISTER, FRIEND ECT ECT AND WHEN THE ADDICTION IS CLEARED FROM THERE SOUL THERE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS AND THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE ANYWAY LOVE FROM TRENTON NJ
We need more people thinking like me an u bro
@@albertmolina6751 yea well a lot of people are afraid of what they don’t know about and judge mental of things they have zero experience with but when it hits someone close to them unfortunately they come around GOD BLESS U BRO THX U FR
I just picked up three years in recovery. Ive been a Raiders fan my entire life, and having Maxx on this team, sharing his story, being who he is, has inspired me since day one. 12th step miracles my dude. One day at a time.
Casually sparing with the champ. Great work and keep hustling Maxx
Maxx is one of my favorite athletes. I can relate to him so much. Same age, from the same area of Texas, and battled my own demons. Hearing Darren Waller and his journey with sobriety helped me get through my own addiction. Mad props Maxx! Also sparring the middleweight champ is pretty tuff too!
It doesn’t matter which team you root for. I have nothing but total respect for you. Thank you for being an example as a leader and honest about your struggles to sobriety. God bless you.
Sparring with Sean Strickland 🔥
So much respect to Maxx Crosby for telling "Our" story if you know you know. I've never met Maxx never had a conversation with homie or even knew he was one of "Us". That being said he's now my favorite NFL player and tha kills me as he's a Raider and I'm from "God's Country" Massachusetts
Big props to Maxx for being so open. I am approaching 500days sober from Alcohol & this story hits home.
Best of luck to you Maxx! I just learned of the alcohol thing yesterday I’m a Kc fan but he reminds me of an old school Raider. Like Ted Hendricks or Phil Vill. You are a beast man
Definite physical similarities to the Mad Stork Hendricks. Both are tall with long arms and exceptional tensile strength. Game wreckers.
This honestly hits on a different level and I have nothing but respect and gratitude for him. Going public with his story to help others with their mental battles is awesome and I'll 100% be using this as motivation. Thank you sir
For real as someone who battles addiction is always helps to look at someone who has become successful at what they do after they get sober
I don't think there have been a lot of doubters after Crosby played his first professional game. He is that good. But it's good to have that voice to say that someone is doubting you so you still have that fire to keep getting better.
Maxx Crosby is a savage. Probably my favorite to watch in the league with his hustle. He has made me a Raiders fan!!!
Back up the horse there, buddy! You might want to rethink that life decision. I chose the Raiders 30 years ago and it's been nothing but pain and suffering ever since.
LMFAO I can see this!@@UpsonPrattJr.
I've been a Raider fan since 1968 and I've had a lot of good times, they'll be back if McDaniels doesn't f it up and the refs don't play for the other side.
He’s already a hall of famer at life and he’s working on becoming an nfl HOF’er. I got 4 of his jerseys but I don’t have enough of his jerseys. This dude is a raider!!! 🏴☠️🏴☠️☠️🏴☠️☠️☠️
So happy for this guy! Stay strong brother! 👍
IVE BEEN SOBER FOR 14 MONTHS..I LOVED HOW MAXX STARTED THIS VIDEO BY SAYIN THE ONE THING U GOTTA CHANGE IS EVERYTHING..FAMOUS WORDS..
Crosby inspires me to quit drinking ,love this guy man
You can do it man
@@chriss8354 it’s been a week but it’s a start
Never knew what it’s like to be an addict but having a close friend won’t say their name be in a dark hole and find their way back while having their back was a total blessing of bouncing back. Mad Maxx is a true inspiration for people not only battling on the field but battling and overcoming demons. Definitely applaud him for that.
Truly a inspiration
I am a die hard denver fan and I love this guy. Let’s fight together brother!!!!
1 month sober here and still fighting my mind and selfish desires. My respect to all who have the courage to admit we have a problem; thats the beginning. God bless. 🙏🙌
My favorite Raider right now, MAD MAXX is soo underrated, hope RaiderNation knows how appreciate him everyday 🖤🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍🗣️💯
God bless you and your family, Maxx.
As a Broncos fan, I got so much respect for this man. Glad he’s staying sober and has a newborn. Definitely a great success story 💯
Sober 10+ years and big Raider and Crosby fan.Keep it up MAX
I love this kids attitude! Keep doing u Mad Max! God Bless u and ur family.✝️
Mad Maxx 💯 your favorite players favorite player ☠️
Very inspiring. Very happy to see you become the man you are Maxx.
So very proud of you and there is so much more for you to unleash on the league. Keep moving forward!!!
Nothing but respect for Maxx.
Nobody understands the strength and courage it takes to pull yourself out of addictions like this. Props to Maxx, he's a real one.
Crosby is a beast. As a lifelong Charger fan I can still give this man his props. I too have 3.5 years clean and sober after 20 years of using hard drugs. Keep it up killer 💯
Just celebrated 3 years on the 3rd of November. Came quick.
I didn’t like Crosby but after listening to his story the man is a worrier, I thought he was up himself but he is actually really humble and grounded. If your reading this bro your inspiring me and others to be sober… so thank you
Maxx is a great role model! Thanks Maxx!
Makes you appreciate him that much more. There are many people in the league struggling behind closed doors and these hopefully push them to ask for help
Bro just casually sparring with the UFC middleweight champ is wild
Crosby sparring with the champ Strickland crazy!!
I'm struggling so hard fighting m addiction to alcohol at the moment... I lost my job , my relationship , my home... and that just makes it harder to quit . I'm in AA and therapy as of this week to see if it helps me because I do want to stop. Hearing Crosbys story gives me so much hope and encourages to change my mindset the way this man has ! I don't know how he does it but I hope to achieve that mentality and strength one day
Hey Jesse I promise ya u CAN get all u lost back in time but it’s gonna take work !!!! It’s never too late (don’t mean to preach) but it’s true. The only way you can get all that stuff back is to put in the work I’m getting and staying sober. Wish you the best don’t give up on yourself. I didn’t Choice ever made 💯🙏🏻🙏🏻
@@JohnNSaldi thank you I appreciate it 🙏
Hey Jesse I kn know the pain, ive been there.. Just know we believe in you and God has a plan for you.. God bless
As a niner fan or even a fan of the NFL you gotta respect this man’s game. He’s a beast but doesn’t get the recognition bc of the more famous DE’s
He doesn't have high sack numbers
But recks games by pressures and best run stopper at DE
@@calidream9273 that’s why that’s a pretty big stat to have as a DE regardless of sack numbers. He’s a good player
@@calidream9273 it's not about sacks stopping thinking edge rushers win dpoty because of sacks that's not true
@DMV831 that's what I mean he's top 5 DE and dosent get alot of recognition because ppl talk about his sack stats
@rubenmoreno7421 I'm saying he doesn't get recognized as the best DE because media and ppl see his Sack count. And don't watch the film , he's a beast in the run game aswell most DE are not as good in that category
Maxx Crosby it’s awesome maxx Crosby bad-ass let go raiders 🔥👊💪💪💪
Let go raiders raiderssssssssssss raiderssssssssssss raiderssssssssssss raiderssssssssssss raiderssssssssssss
83 days sober for me. Coincidentally I'm also a Raider fan. This story is inspiring in many ways. Triangle tattoo symbol represents his sobriety. It stands for recovery, service and unity. I might get it too. My hat off to you Mr Crosby
Get it, right here with you.
What a great football player
Good luck Maxx!! Big fan of your game, attitude & perseverance!! 🤙🤙

Max Your hard Work is the Example for Alll ! Congrats !!!!!!!!@!!
Huge fan of Crosby since day one 💯
This man is a god damn legend 🏴☠️
I’m 4.5 years sober. Crosby is my man, because I could tell him my story and he would understand. A Raider fan all my life, Maxx coming to the franchise in 2019 the same time I got sober is definitely a God Wink! Shout out to Darren Waller too, once a Raider always a Raider. #CleanandSober
Love this story brotha I can relate for sure.
Maxx looks like a guy that goes all in on whatever it is that he chooses to do. Good or bad. What an inspiration

Raider for life!!!!!🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
They rlly had the MW champ as a background character 😭😭 ( yes ik he wasn’t the champ when they made this )
My hero #RN4L
Max crobsy is the heart of the raider’s defense
Respect 🫡 bro
I have 8 months clean what an inspiration this man is nothing but great things in store for u Mad Maxx RAIDERSSSSSS
i appreciate the NFL for sharing stories of real men. Someone out there needs to be inspired or needs guidance. I look to use their experience as discipline.
huge max crosby fan
1 year and 2 months sober, was indecisive if I was going to ever drink again.. but yeah this stamped it. Sober forever
Quitting opiates for the 2nd time starting tomorrow.
Constant battle inside your brain.
An Addictive personality is one of the most dangerous things in the world.
Hats off to anyone trying to get clean!
Hes a Beast!
Mad Maxx a real 1 #RN4L
MAD props to Mad Max, dude is living his best life now. Good luck this season!
Great story. I liked this guy before this interview. Now got respect for the dude. Keep it up. Too much to lose.

Madd maxx is my role model what a great guy I hope you can do what you do and thank you for what doing with the raiders your a beast🔥🔥🔥
Sparring Sean Strickland with no mouthguard, Maxx has no fear in him
This is a great interview.
What up Sanjit!
lifelong broncos fan, i can remember his first snap, he that dude
Favorite non Bemgal in the league. Dude is a warrior on and off the field.
Sobriety is tough as hell, Im in year 5 and I still think about it everyday and it damn near ruined my life.
he a beast bad ass dude🏈
Respects to Maxx on over coming his addiction.
That’s my man!!
Damm do they ever talk about his grind to make it to the nfl all the obstacles he had to go through from almost not making the team to having a broken hand his rookie season we all love the guy for his work he put in for becoming sober but like at some point the nfl gotta leave him alone and just let him play his game he don’t wanna be reminded about the for years and years he wants to be a guy who took his team that he loves to the Super Bowl and won dpoy maybe I’m just overthinking it
I’m 10 days sober! Hit 315 at the gym yesterday on bench at 6’3 197lbs!! Going to get twisted this weekend can’t wait I haven’t went more than a week without getting blacked out in a year!!
Not drinking alcohol is the best prize out of anything. You don’t need to be a pro athlete to enjoy your life when you don’t drink alcohol.💪
I don’t know I I’ve ever seen a more genuine and likeable interviewer than Charissa Thompson. Very impressive.
:As a Chiefs Fan I have mad respect for Crosby and I love watching you an Mahomes go at it lol
3:07 nice transition carrisa
Lmao ya her delivery is garbage 😂
My dawg 💯💪🏼☠️
U can tell his heart an mind are in one place
Im over two years sober alcohol was my first addiction then pain killers. Just got hired for a job i want to make my carrer. As time goes on it gets easier. Build positive habits, structure gain self awareness and recondition the mind thats key. Remain grateful everyday!! Im never going back to that life i was living
Love it bro 🙌🏼 raider nation for life
Ayyy didn’t know he was in the program that’s sick.
I did not expect him to be sparing the champ first thing in this video lol good for him. Congrats on the sobriety
I believe that him on the ring fighting help him be more fearless!
Your fighting mma fighter come on think about it
Your the man Madd Maxx
