Knapford Station 2022 Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway - I'm a little disappointed

- Purchased on Amazon when it was $65. Over all it is a well built set. I am a little disappointed with Annie & Clarabel. Play features added to the set which I understand is good for playing - (that's what play features are for) but I do not like the look of the cargo car or Annie & Clarabel - especially when I think how nice all the other characters are in this series.

i think it looks alright. similar to the 2010 wooden railway knapford station. that was a pretty cool destination.
I wonder if Mattel will do the same thing with Bertie, Bulgy, Daisy, or any other coach characters if they get reintroduced; have little slots in them where illustrations of passengers could be placed.
Annie and Clarabel toaster edition. The station looks great, those tiles are weird, who puts barriers on tracks to a station?
I think I get the idea behind those little features on the side your luggage goes up the elevator loads up into the cart and then drops down To the station platform I think that's what Mattel was going for but they didn't do a good job

I will respect your opinion on the slide Play Pieces but personally I don't mind them and I don't mind of how the humans were, but my favorite slide piece will have to be The Railway Series Thomas that is so cool overall I will respect your opinion on the wooden railway knapford station of 2022.
Pretty interesting! I just think the more recent Thomas Wooden Railway stuff trying to be better than the newer Brio stuff while being unique (other than just trains with human faces). I think the station looks nice, but those gates in the front make it look more like a turnpike toll booth than a British/European railway station.
If you're looking for a full Wooden Railway 2022 collection, you are gonna need to get Kenji as well as Kevin!!
I wonder if you can still run Thomas & Trackmaster on the New Wooden Railway track like you could on the old wooden railway track!!!!

They should of done The coaches with a button like they did with the trackmaster ones and make it look like there was no one but when you pushed the button there was people

Nice review! The other characters you're missing,besides Kevin are(I haven't seen them when you were putting all of the trains on the table) Emily & Kenji. Personally I think Knapford would be better at 50$

I think the Play features of the New Wooden Railway are a gimmick gimmick and what made the original Wooden Railway so great is it didn't need to have gimmick play features to make it great!!!!
I’d rather have Annie & Clarabel with closed gray roofs along with printed decals of passengers in the windows.
Can’t belive that this reboot is made in indonesia, but its not in the stores i went to (i live in indonesia btw)

With all due respect, Trains Tsar Fun, but I think this Knapford Station is pretty cool. Sure, Annie & Clarabel look kind of odd with the slide slots inside of them, but they still look better than their Wood counterparts. I'm planning on getting this sometime this year along with the new 2022 Brendam Docks pack with Cranky and Bulstrode.

I really don't like this destination it's just horrible. Annie and Clarabel look like toasters we should've gotten a solid Annie and Clarabel it would look so much better. That truck is pretty bad too it just looks off. The slides are just awkward I really don't like those. As for Knapford itself the roof completely throws it off having that track up there it just looks awkward
You also need Kenji and Cranky from the 2022 Wooden Railway line then I think that's all of them (including Tidmouth Sheds and Kevin)
as of the Wave 1/2 in July, this range has a decent variety of characters, but fairly mediocre destinations.
This Knapford Station is miles better than the single Wood canopy, but the stupid tacky slides ruins it for the features.
Who at Mattel ever approved of them!? There is not a justifiable point to these, since there was nothing wrong with the wooden figures back in the 2013 line. (although they only made Sir Topham Hatt only for some reason)
Was it that difficult to not let the little engineers (children) recreate parts of Sodor, using their imaginations? they should've had silhouettes of the passengers on board them, and that's it.
plus, they both could easily be wooden (being a square shape can be easy to make out of wood)
as of now, we have two characters from the infamous reboot, Carly in that form, and Terence in a McColl's Farm barn (which a rooftop would be easy to make into plastic) that will be planned for release in the following of Fall to end of 2022. hopefully this line continues in 2023 (not AEGfying the next lot of engines from the original)
Knapford doesn't have an ascending track for the track up top (why is that nessacery?) Mattel should know, that Knapford isn't the only big terminal station on Sodor, there's also Vicarstown with a stone bridge above town. (also in AEG, and has a charging station for electric engines)
With the recent news of Beresford in it's second season, we might get a version of him, like Cranky (without a barge like Bulstrode)
I think they added the slides bc they needed more play features. You can't put wooden figures inside coaches since they're too tall,so they had to think of something else,and since wood aproached that ideea so teribbly I think that's why they went with the slides.
@@tnpproductions5406+ they even didn't add a baggage cargo piece with the cargo car. Wood acted more like cheaper take on Brio.
