Sad for Fulham. Former late 60s/early 70s stars done. At least manager Bobby Campbell had a great promotion campaign with Pompey in 82/83. We got promoted as champions of the Third Division. As the son of an Aberdonian,it was great seeing that fantastic Aberdeen team beating Celtic!
I remember being at Craven Cottage when Peter Mellor made his debut. Always a disappointment. Strange also that Marsh, Best and Moore were so bad but both the manager and Brian Moore try to cover for them
