  • Chi Roll - Great place to start for anyone getting into dragonstaff. There are many variations to this move so play around and ALWAYS practice backwards and both directions!

Hello! I have been trying so hard to get chi rolls but I just can’t do it !! I don’t think I have enough flexibility in my shoulder to bring my arm down enough as I just cannot get the transfer from my forearm or wrist area to my upper arm and then I start getting aches In my shoulder :( do you have any advice for me ?

Exactly what type of epdm rubber is it? I seen all types: for roofs, for cars, etc.

I am struggling with the backwards chi roll and keeping my palms up doing the chi roll. My ex fiance taught me bad habits and I'm trying to break them to get better. I really need help

I have a practice staff but it sides off my arm instead of rolling dow, what can I add to it to make it roll down?

try with no clothes on the shoulders/arms. My staff often slides over the clothes whereas it rolls better on skin.
Also: are you using any tape? He talks about it in the beginning of the video.

I really wish the music wasn't so loud. It's hard for me to focus or understand what you're saying.
