Tyler is a slacker, real cowboys have horses and herd their cattle. Tyler trains his cattle to follow him around, hardly fair to real trail hands… (humor y’all ..don’t hate)

@DB.Crypto we would mostly only use 4 wheelers and pickups. We wanted cattle to be scared of anyone on foot to be able to work them easier and as a defense against cattle rustlers. Plus it was so We could better judge mom's attention to us when ear tagging. A good mother will let u know tag and then that's it 😅

Tyler, You are not only so skilled at doing these complex repairs, you are a most excellent calm individual who doesn’t allow yourself to be rattled when things break down. You put your head down and charge right into the challenges you face, repair the damage and move on. In addition to this, you are a great husband, showing respect to Bree, you are a wonderful provider for your family, and a great father to your children, and a great farmer in caring for your livestock & pets . . . We, through your Grace and generosity, are being invited into your life through your channel to experience what humanity ought to look like. Thank you from the bottom of my heart . . . 🙏🏼💜🙏🏼

The wire damage on the fly sprayer interested me. Recently a friend of mine had a portion of the wiring harness of one of his vehicles chewed up by a groundhog……caught in the act! When he took the vehicle to get repaired, the the likely reason the groundhog found such an attraction for his wiring harness was that some of the insulation/ plastic conduit is made in part with a soybean compound. Apparently this was not the repair shops first rodeo with this type of damage. Granted cattle do weird things sometimes, but they may have had an underlying motivation this time.

My buffalo always ate the horse and flatbed trailer wiring off. Vet told me he needed some sort of minerals or something. Has been many years I have forgotten exactly. Now I place all wiring in a plant bucket and out of site. And water never stays in it.😊

Came to write the same. Auto manufacturers have been dealing with the wiring problem for years. Even in 2014 the number of employee vehicles that had to be carried off for repair in a single year because of rabbit and squirrel damage was incredible. In the year before I retired there were 38-vehicles towed out for wire repairs.

Sometimes saving an easy task for the end of the day can help with feeling accomplished, especially when something doesn't go quite to plan. I also think starting off the day with an easy task can boost confidence and set the tone for the day. I guess it really depends on whether you are a morning person or not.

My grandfather also leveled some river bottom ground so the water would flow both ways from the pipeline. A 6” Fresno Alfalfa valve is less than $100 plus fittings, so we ended up digging a line over and duplicating the valve system on the other side at each existing valve.

We are having temperatures closer to your temperatures here in Upper New York State. Well almost, we’re in the high 90’s with heat index around 107°. I know there’s a big difference between 99° and 110° or 120°. But we aren’t used to these temps. One of the difference here is that we have 100% humidity and sometimes we get about 5 seconds of rain.
I guess we’re not going to find out about the bottle calves 😞.

Tyler, you calling the cattle up really warmed my heart as it brought back some very special memories. I have to say, I'm so proud of you each & every time I watch you. You are sticking with the more older ways of farming. To me, the real ways of farming. Most farmers/ranchers today couldn't farm the way you do. Money has spoiled farmers today. It's to easy to go buy new & bigger & better. Instead of fixing what they have, go buy new/bigger/better. Just keep doing the way you do. You & you're ways are awesome!! You & your family are always in my prayer's. Take care, be safe & God bless ❤❤❤❤

We asked a neighbor if he could nickel weld he said he could what did we need he said to try j b weld and it worked. I learned a lesson quit being cheap use antifreeze.

I had the air filter/water-oil separator bulb go bad on the industrial equipment I work with. Couldn't find the bulb but the larger unit was available. Before trashing the plasma cutter, putting something before the air gets into the unit will probably be good enough. Removing the old innards will probably be necessary to stop the leak if you go that route.

I’m in East Tennessee and we’ve had droughts the past two years and I was wondering what the cost would be to install an irrigation system? I’m more interested in the steer pasture system as I don’t think it would be cost efficient for what you have on the main farm.
