I'm getting a lot of DMs about where to find my free online business training, so I'll link it right here. 👉 Free AI Business Training ➜ bit.ly/ai-trainings
Interesting idea Marvin. 2 things as a beginner looking to start an online business is. First of all, say you do build a website using this method and say the client is a buyer, whatever you shake hands on 2000 USD, how does the handover process work. How do I make the website theirs, you mentioned using Fiver so that someone can build it on their wordpress, but nevertheless if you could explain me that. And second question regarding sort of extending a branch on a successfully signed client with Marketing Services and becoming an agency owner in a sense, something I never did, but running Google Ads for them is again I feel like something you would need to off source? A lot of simple yet crucial details I have to learn before I can have confidence in even trying to execute an idea like this. Thanks for the video!
Good questions. 1. The website will be built / delivered on their hosting / WordPress account for example (which is free anyway). The person you outsource to will be able to guide you. Usually, you just get access to your client's webhosting (as an admin), that's it. 2. You are correct, the best way is to outsource service delivery. You cannot possibly become an expert at everything. It will allow you to grow your business faster if you focus on getting (more) clients, instead of mastering paid ads, or website creation.
Great video, thanks. Wondering - with carrd, they offer hosting, so you could create it and sell right away. Does this tool offer such a thing? If we are talking landing pages, would they need anything more complicated (like WP etc)?
It would largely depend on the amount of offers you make and how many times you would be using this with your outreach, but comparing the cost to the potential gain, it would be a small fraction of the potential sales revenue you could make every month.
Came from reddit! Approaching the client tou send them screenshots of proposed design? Gamma app gives you the code base? Your client doesnt have a WP server or even hosting server, are you going to offer hosting solutions? Your client want to add/changebsomething 3 months later, you still keep access to his admin login? Wil ledit the code yourself ? Your client used your screenahots and sent them to someone to code them, what do you do? You client involved a 3rd person who changed yhe code base, then came back to you to fix it 4onths later ? I see you are targetiing mostly businesses that dont care about online presence that much, restaurants, plumbers, roofer etc.. What can you do to convince a roofer who has been working 15 years without a site to give tou $5000 for building him a site ?
Send them the link straight away - hosting solutions can be offered (we've done that in the past but usually only for already existing clients to be a bit more accommodating) - we only offer the creation / build, don't do maintenance work, so we don't keep their access - clients are usually boomers who don't even know how to take a screenshot, let alone figure out how to send it to someone else, it's a theoretical scenario. I care about WHAT IS and not about WHAT IF scenarios, no reason to worry. - we just sell the website / don't take care of any future changes / maintenance as it's usually not that profitable - Best clients are the ones who already realized that digital marketing is the way to go - clients who are very doubtful of that can be a pain, so, to convince someone is something we usually don't have to do. If someone does not see the obvious potential of digital marketing in 2023, then all hope is lost. Let's say that was the case though (we would have to convince them), then I would show them a case study of how we used a simple Google ad to a website that would beat competitors locally and ask them: why wouldnt you want to get an extra X appointments per month practically streamlined via google? and how that would impact their business potentially.
@marvinadamtv thanks for the insight, you are not trying to tackle every aspect of the sale, offer complete solutions, you are focused on 1 way that makes you money and trying to reach more clients and rinse and repeat. I'm interested on how you find clients? Do you deal a with a lead aggregator ? Do you have a system ? It seems that you are trying to be very time efficient, and randomly looking online for local businesses that have a bad sire or no site seems like much work if you are even only targeting the US ! How do you approach the one on one meetings? I'm going to assume zoom meetings I guess, boomers use zoom ?
