  • Porsche 911 ST ; Rare classic Porsches are today worth fortunes, they are highly coveted and collected by those in the know, and cars such as the Porsche 911ST which saw just 24 examples made, are a fabled rare Fabergé egg of the car world.
Only an expert will see this rather fetching car to be a replica of that mythical 911ST and while this car's value may not be quite into the millions, it is non the less, a converted showpiece of the highest order.

Can you get into engine suspension details? BTW, I am building a ‘71 T still w its narrowbody w a 3.8 shoehorned into her. Come to Scotland next year and we’ll go for a drive 👍

Just goes to show that when you have the perfect DNA in a car, it doesn't need to change much.
Being able to recreate a 1970's 911 ST with parts from a 1986 911, 16 years it's junior, is pretty impressive.
Also. Love the stopwatch stuck onto the dashboard 8-))...
Great video Mr. B. But regardless of how good looking and how uncluttered the exterior of this ST is, it's not the car for me.
    Your No1 Stalker 8-))...

@@RogerBaileyOnCars I love old cars. If that golden finger pointed at me, then maybe I'd get one. A series 1 E-type. Merc 300sl. Jaguar XK140. Austin Healey 3000 (I had one for a day! Really torquey engine.)
I used to have an old MG Midget with the 1,500 engine. A drifters delight with no weight on the rear but with very quick steering. The looks on other drivers as I went around a bend, hit wet leaves and came out of it with the car not exactly pointing in the right direction, even though I was in full control, was always a delight. My screaming passenger was always funny too. 8-))...

Beautiful build, but 1300 kg seems heavy for a build like this, with the rs bumpers and more stripped interior it should be 2500 pounds (1130 KG) or so. I've weighed a 1984 Carrera with stock body (AC delete, duck tail) at 2650 pounds (1202 KG). Not trying to be a jerk or anything, just wanted to add that.

Nicely done. I agree with all of your observations, but I think an honest restoration of a long hood 911 T/E/S would give all the drama, presence, and enjoyment. Not sure I would do a fake ST, Carrera RS, etc. The “regular” 911 was a wonderful machine in its own right.
