I've done Sparkler Favours for my wedding, that way there's nothing to take home and its lots of fun (and great for pictures).

Great gift idea i saw from a friends wedding was a magnite picture that was done with you and them at the wedding and after 1-2 hours all pictures are done and placed on a wall and you search for yours and after the wedding you can put it on your fridge or something =]] It's very cool useful and it's cheap :D

I made my daughters favors. They were herb olive oil, and their name is Baggett....so I named them “Baggett Dipping Oil”. Not cheap, but they were a big hit!

I've been looking into favors that are useful & I am 100% against making anything personalized, so thank you for confirming what I've chosen not to do. We've decided to do candy (M&M's in our colors) and s'mores, I feel like the food will be taken over anything else.
Trail Mix is good if the bride and groom are hikers. Party favors are important for the Bride to experience the wedding process.
Adding diagrams for examples would have been great.

Do you recommend one favor per person or one favor per household? 😊
Usually you do a favor for each guest BUT if you wanted to do nicer favors, you could do a little sign that says one favor per family or something! Every wedding I’ve done, there have been soooo many leftovers though, so you may not even have to do the sign.
My cousin did the bottle openers and hand sanitizer but I don't want to do the same 😕
It’s dead easy and cheap to make home made baking vanilla. Everyone needs vanilla.
How about for kids? I plan to have kids at my wedding. I’m not even engaged or proposed to yet but I’m starting to plan .
The dollar store has off brand LEGO sets, but they’re pretty great quality. Repackage it in a cool container, and they’ll love it. Alternatively, edible treats would be welcome to any guest regardless of age

We didn't have party favors at our wedding so I have to ask why would you? I've been to several weddings where I didn't take anything home because what would I do with it with it?
Favors are a type of “thank you” and are just a nice little gift for people who have gone to a lot of trouble to attend your special day. It’s not mandatory (although I’ve never been to a wedding without favors), but it’s a nice touch.
I agree...seems like food & drink (like $100 a head) would be thank you enough.

Indeed, the bottle opener with the names of the couple engraved in it, was just too awkward to be used. A niece from my husband got married. Was perhaps the second time I saw her. Haven't seen her since. Threw the darn thing out. Wasn't even useful for bringing to a thrift store.
