If you can take a song and peel off all orchestral and singing arrangements, melt it down to a single instrument and it still sounds full and beautiful... that's the essence of quality music. This man is a musical genius, a Mozart and Bach of our time.

Benny plays the most beautiful music ever. I could listen to him play all day. He has such an amazing talent. I loved watching during the ABBA performance bouncing on his piano stool, then he would headbang with his hair all shiny and flying in the air, look at the camera and give a sweet smile. Wow! It knocked me out! Love you Benny! You are the best. ❤️🌹❤️
Deeply contemplative person. The music flows through him...I enjoy playing his piano music book, and at times my own interpretation of these beautiful compositions 🎹🎶🥰

Benny is truly a musical genius. I have always heard the classical influences in the ABBA songs. Those songs are upbeat classical pieces in a way.
“The Winner Takes It All” is clearly a classical composition. Superb.

It is a wonderful performance of the grand piano. Player articulation (Match my guidelines · Direttanto · TS, including commentary on music and movie related in comments) Mixing technique with raw sound · Camera division · Technique of movie technique · Blocking The composition of video with English subtitles of reveal frame · Transition of video editing is wonderful. Piano can be reproduced from high to low, so in words that express sound, it may be said that it is an aesthetic factor, force factor, metal factor, SD method.

Kinda sad he didn't mention Björn at all in this interview. With all respect to Andersson... but was he really the only mastermind behind all these great compositions? I always thought Benny and Björn wrote (most of) the songs together.
Mike Hartwich As i understood it Benny wrote the music and Björn the lyrics. .its been the same with "Chess" and "Kristina" However im sure its their friendship that created the classic Abba songs.
well, Bjorn was mainly the lyricist, but he helped Benny with music by accompanying him on the accoustic guitar. ABBA music is 90 % piano based, and the intricate instrumental pieces like Arrival or Intermezzo nr. 1 are clearly his "children"
Björn has clearly stated Benny was the musical engine, so I don't think there is an issue with not mentioning him.
@@torbjornmelin9191 They wrote the ABBA songs together in joint sessions, but there's no question who was the driving force.
I liked very much young Benny. He was my favourite of the group; I loved the couple Anni-Frid - Benny and I was disappointed that he divorced her. From the 4 of them he aged worst. He's not the same person, unfortunately ( probably because of the drinking problem that he had). Makes me sad.
It should not be Old man playing Old songs title but A Man, a Vision and a Legacy to the World....would be more appropriate, Benny.. Because that is what you are....
