The biggest problem with a Deathwing counter is that you need to live to turn 10. That's kinda rough these days.

Hearthstone is a lot like Psychostick (band, look them up) these days. They can only count to 4.
Use Dragon Consort and you can play Deathwing at either turn 8 or 6 (when paired with Brann).

I've played Deathwing a couple of times. Shaman is the counter. 2 mana hero power taunt 100% of the time everytime you play Deathwing. Then they top deck a Hex and GG.

Deathwing is tremendous, a great minion. But it has to be nerfed. Its a criminal, rapist but I assume its a great minion.

Kripp's combo is a otk 4 card combo in 2 different turns but a) when doing the first part you only have to get Leeroy on the hand and b) when playing Leeroy the next turn the opponent can't have a taunt or it's literally ruined; the entire deck works around staying alive and drawing cards, nothing else. Then there's Leeroy on Handlock who is just used as a random finisher when you can play it in the same turn as 2 PO and then 2 soulfires, and the deck itself works pretty good without it.

And, in a combo deck you MUST rely only in your combo? the deck can't work without it to be a non-noob, good, pro, E-sports deck? Everything you said makes no sense at all
Look at Kripp's decklist, without the Leeroy combo there is no board presence or good minions to do damage at all, it's literally it's only win condition. Now look at Handlock, they usually have Leeroy + PO and Soulfires as a finisher, but the rest of the deck works perfectly on it's own, you can perfectly win a game without using Leeroy and the combo since you have the giants, drakes, Jaraxxus, etc.

John Man If I were in that situation I'd pick Ysera, no questions asked. But I kind of thought it over right now and came to the conclusion that Ysera would be worthless for Kripp here. Ysera generates advantage, therefore she would not work at all with Deathwing whom Kripp was ready to summon at a moment's notice. If Kripp summoned Ysera, any advantage she gave him would be totally wasted by the Deathwing play. The potential Ysera Awakens wouldn't really give him much against a field of big creatures, and he also wouldn't want to use any of the other cards given by Ysera either.

2)If he knew he would draw deathwing then ysera is just a strictly better pick because if he picked deathwing only one of the deathwings can be played.

ProphetShadow I play 5 warlocks in a row all with Leroy faceless and Leroy power overwhelming after fair and square winning with lethal next turn EVERY day. When I drop back down a rank or two it gives me somewhat decent luck so I can win if I make no misplays and calculate everything out. Back up a rank and the same bullshit happens and this just repeats. I'm 100% sure hearthstone is rigged at this point. The RNG I get and my opponents get is so one sided it's not realistic and I can't rank up.

ProphetShadow . I can't rank up because I lose almost every game due to insane RNG. When I finally get a lucky 2 or 3 game win streak I play against the perfect counter to the deck I'm playing 5 times in a row and they all get insane rng. Like the RNG is so crazy it mine as well be scripted. I switch decks the same thing happens. I start playing against decks that counter me and the RNG is absolutely fucking bonkers. Like if you watch hearthstone videos about crazy RNG that happens to me every game. It's not like I suck either. I've been playing this game since GVG and naxx came out. Like almost the start of the game.

it is. its really good. i made the deck for the battlecry quest (got both the 30 and 75 battlecry ones at the same time) thats why have jeweled scarab in there and the lotus dude. but this deck is really awesome becuase of how linear they are individually. however, this deck requires some skill as you need to plan wether to develop your c'thun, or jades. its also fairly cheep, as i dont have much gadgetzan cards, i crafted almost everything you see there. so the expensive cards are only twin emps and aya.
beat handlock, aggro lock, control priest, miracle rouge, jade shaman, and mil rouge (though they might have just been bad players lol).
also, im no expert on dek building so if anyone can give some improvements please do :).
and sorry for bad picture quality. my capture card is bad lol.
Looks nice, i would personally replace the skeram cultist with brann. but still seems a solid deck (don't know if you have brann though)

I've not got much of a collection but I've gotten fairly lucky and got Deathwing and Malygos so I threw them together into a Jade Maly-Druid deck and Deathwing has saved my life like 4 times out of like 15 games

I wish I still had my golden deathwing, Im free to play so it meant a lot, but it was GvG era so I had to disenchant it for Dr. Doom because doom was in every deck and deathwing wasn't really that big back then; And they then announced standard and dr. doom was taken out of standard :'(

Why is Volcanic Lumberer in the deck? You can't combo it with Deathwing since you discard your hand.

I actually didn't have Ysera for my Reno Priest so I threw in Deathwing and after playing quite some time with the deck it now seems to me that he is even better than Ysera. Deathwing destroys rogues, shamans and druids, is very good vs the other kabal decks when the game has dragged on long enough and is situational vs the buff decks. Ysera seems good only vs control/mid-range decks when you arent behind on board, so she doesn't seem very good against jade decks and buff decks.
Not playing the Bloodsail Cultist at 13:05 cost Kripp that game. He was pushing for damage and didn't add to the board. Greedy plays,silly loss.
