    In my new edge it does that, because when you pull your keys out (i'm under the impression they probably break easily) theres a button (tab looking thing) you have to push forward to fully turn the key towards you and out. And yours is probably broken and it still lets you fully take out the key out. Its a ford thing my foxbody has a button under the column to take the keys out

Get a decent (late 60s style) hood to release that heat, tint the windows, build a roll cage, back glass louvers, body painted side mirrors, maybe some cool tail lights and the duck lip rear spoiler, tint the parking/marker lights, get a low profile antenna, cut out a big sun roof; oh... and leave a little compartment for dudes to place their virginity cards after their first ride.

I love fox bodies too but facts are facts overall the new edge is a better car for less money people charge a fortune for foxes these days while edge cars and better and easier to coyote swap and can be had cheaper. @@iancrudden295I disagree. Both are good options it depends what you wanna do. If you want a 450-500 rwhp all motor setup the 2v ain't the one for that although its possible it's gonna take a ton more work. A coyote is gonna be alot lighter than a boosted 2v a coyote is lighter than an iron 2v anyways then you add boost weight on top of that. For a corner carver an all motor coyote would be a better setup. Less weight on the front better balance and less heat soak issues to worry about although a centri doesn't have bad heat soak issues with proper cooling it's still gonna be alot more heat issue than an na setup. It can be done alot cheaper than what he did it too he also priced his entire build including wheels and other stuff that has nothing to do with the swap making it seem alot more expensive.

      @@isaacabernathy8819 the 2v isn't nearly as fragile as people make it out to be. People act like if you're making 400 wheel you're on borrowed time. If so you're running shit fuel or shit tune or both and/or not maintaining the car properly. They can live at 450+ easily on a stock bottom end with good fuel and tuning.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 Před rokem

      But you also are stuck at that power level unless you build the bottom end whereas this car can be boosted and run 650-700 to the wheels. If you only wanna get into the 400 hp range and stay there that is fine. This is a better setup with more potential. The coyote isn't just alot more powerful its all aluminum construction makes it alot lighter than an iron 2v also. You nearly double your hp, you take 80-90 lbs off the front and take your ceiling from 450 range to 650-700 and if you do a gen 2 coyote 800+ wheel. On top of all this it gets better mpg than the 2v does. Mpg on s197 are similar but they weigh like 400+ lbs more the coyote would get better mpg than a 2v in a lighter new edge. Hard to add that much power, remove that much weight and increase mpg all at once the coyote swap is one way you can do that with a new edge.

    • @midnight347
      @midnight347 Před rokem +2

      You could potentially boost it for less and make similar power but you'd be at the top of what you can do without going built motor whereas this engine can still be boosted and basically double its hp. If all you're wanting is 400 hp range and are never gonna want more maybe that would be ok. A stock coyote is gonna get way better mpg than a boosted 4.6 tho imo both in the same weight vehicle. I know people don't care about mpg but if you can get better mpg from the same amount of power why wouldn't you?

Everyone has an s550. The coyote sounds better in a new edge and it damn sure runs better in a new edge.
