I even can´t believe how much the game is different, compared to ´´normal´´ version,
from different HUD across new weapons to completely reworked hitboxes, and fps increase.
For me, Bluehole is making amazing progress.

Water barely needs any resources depending on the complexity(waves, reflection)
Grass meanwhile takes a good chunk of computing power especially when it has effects like moving in the wind
The impact can usually be reduced by using a LoD(Level of Detail) which makes further away objects like grass invisible or removes effects like the moving in the wind which might make enemys visible which shouldn't be visible and that is why they probably didn't optimize it like that

They should get rid of indicator for red zone, just have a longer whistling before they impact, imagine that. With your squad out of the blue just the whistle of shells and sudden impact

abysmal idea. dying to randomness is fucking idiotic. especially for a game hoping to be a competitive e-sport.
Maybe introduce a Casual, Ranked, and Competitive game "mode"/type. The whistling can be heard on casual and ranked but the red zone appears on the competitive types, ya know? I like the idea of more immersive survival in games like this, makes it PvE without the use of need of NPC's, players versus environment is awesome. Thank you for this visual

the map is bigger and the first circle is bigger too. the rest of the circles are the same size. thats why they feel smaller.
Map is still same size but there's less water so it feels bigger.

Gnipzy it's confirmed that we're getting a snowy map. I love the new map, and I honestly think they did incredible with it. Just give it time and keep an open mind when learning the map, and you'll start to like it too. New map are perfect for games like this.

The problem with the old map ist that the whole underground is filled with water constantly animated, they just added the land on the whole ocean instead of addin the ocean on the land

For the Fps, they explained that Erangel landscape was hand made, which makes it not optimized at all, all the rocks, trees and so on have too many vertices.
This one was made with a kind of map generator that optimizes the amount of calcul needed as well.
you should post highlights from other games just so we can see shroud own there as well

They added 3 vehicles made some skins on some old ones. The so called 4th vehicle they talked about is just a variant of the pickup truck, similar to the uaz or bike variants.

How is the map gonna work when it comes out of real game. Like you choose what map you play or is it random with every lobby?
A friend told me it was gonna be random (just like the standard fog and rain maps). Take that with a grain of salt, though. I don't actually know for sure.

I heard this ( IM NOT SURE IF ITS TRUE) BUT I heard that on the first map, they did not make any of the buildings, they used source code from another game for the buildings and never optimized them, and thats why fps on the other map is so bad

Yeah there was a lot of texture streaming improvements in 4.15 if I'm remembering that right. The previous game was on 4.14. I wouldn't be too surprised if Epic was making the changes for this game, or at least to make Fortnite run nicely.

But its true, it isnt that hard to win a game to be honest if you had decent skill which he currently lacks.
it really depends on your playstyle. If you camp a lot and focus on looting houses instead of other players you will win way more often, than agressive players who always look for fights. But how worthy can a chicken dinner with 1 kill be, after youve been laying on the ground for 20 minutes :D
I personally prefer to win like a few times a week but having like 10+ kills then because i looked for fights^^
